After reaching out to almost a dozen contractors, and getting formal written estimates from four, we know that we chose the best company for our job. Abby broke ground at the end of June, and the project was completely finished by the beginning of October. Chris Huie was great to work with from start to finish. Did everything go perfectly according to plan throughout construction? No, it didn't. But when unexpected changes were required, or something wasn't done correctly, Chris was there to talk things through with us and make things right. Workmanship was top notch, communication was constant and clear, and Chris and his guys were pleasant and easy to work with (including all the subcontractors). After contacting Hal, he responded quickly and we set up a time for him to meet and look at the project.He was prompt to show up at the agreed time and gave honest opinions to what would be appropriate. We decided to use LVT and redo the carpet on the steps. He gave us the number for Your Floors to make choices on color.After choosing the product, we received the contract. We had to work around the holidays and crew availability.Hal came to check on the toilet in the powder room, removed it and the sink. He put down drop cloths and was efficient when cleaning up any mess that he made.I was kept informed of progress and was notified when the job was complete.I HIGHLY recommend this business due to Hal’s honesty, promptness, work ethic and workmanship.
