“Classic Construction is a 1st class company and does fantastic work. Juston who my family and i worked with to complete a screened-in deck was fantastic, communicative and courteous. Their onsite project team doing the build was professional and attentive. Brent was their master carpenter on the job and i cannot say enough nice things about him and his team. Their onsite project fact they wanted to talk to us daily to review the progress, ask for feedback and tell us what to expect the next day took the stress completely out of the equation. While Classic Construction exceeds expectations on Customer Service, they are also very competitive on price as i bidded this job out to a few companies. Ultimately the differentiator was the team, their track record and attentiveness to us that pushed to select them. And trust me i am glad i did. “Artistic Stone sources and installed our very long island counter top more than years ago and did a wonderful job, were reasonably priced and were great to work with. Unfortunately despite my warnings that we don’t play golf in the house, my husband swung his golf club and took a chip out of the corner of stone. I immediately called ASD. They quickly responded, gave me a fair quote, scheduled right away and sent a very knowledgeable repair associate, Mr. Kenny, over to fix the damage. Mr Kenny and River a few min early and quickly went to work. The chip was deep and in an awkward spot and he made it look good as new. Cleaned up everything and even resealed the seem which had worn over time and refused to use my trash can so I wouldn’t have any risk of the materials in there. Very, very happy with our experience.“

“The day after Christmas, on December 26, 2024, I experienced a devastating house fire. The fire started in my living room and burned long enough that smoke filled my entire home, making it unlivable and requiring a complete remodel.

Shortly after the fire, Andrew from Capital Construction was one of the very first people on the scene. At a time of devastation, high emotions, and uncertainty, Andrew provided reassurance, kindness, and genuine empathy. As the main contractor, he was never pushy or focused on selling Capital Construction’s services. While multiple contractors were driving by and leaving business cards, Andrew’s calm professionalism and compassion made Capital Construction my clear first choice.

During the first few months, Andrew maintained constant and consistent communication, keeping me fully informed every step of the way. Soon after, I met Nick, who was in charge of handling the contents inside my home. Like Andrew, Nick went above and beyond — always communicating clearly and making sure I knew what was happening and when. He and his crew even took the initiative to gather items of personal or financial importance, such as credit cards, IDs, photos, and jewelry and get them to me immediately.

Andrew and Nick also referred me to other companies that matched their same level of professionalism. Tom from Hamlet Dry Cleaning is a perfect example — he and his team went above and beyond to help my family regain a sense of normalcy during such a difficult time.

Melissa at Capital Construction was incredibly helpful in coordinating communication between the insurance company, Andrew, and me. The entire team was flexible, responsive, and understanding when it came to navigating insurance payments and documentation — even helping send insurance checks to my parents, who are on the deed but live out of town.

As the months passed and the remodel came together, I was introduced to Chris, the Project Manager, who continued the same excellent level of communication. Tayler was an absolute joy to work with — we spent nearly two hours together choosing every detail, from door knobs and light fixtures to fans, faucets, and sinks. Her patience, attention to detail, and design insight made the process enjoyable despite the circumstances.

When the remodel was complete, I walked into what felt like a brand-new home. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Nick’s team remained responsive and respectful when addressing final touch-ups, and the entire Capital Construction staff continued to offer support even after the project was done.

While it’s bittersweet to see our collaboration come to an end, I’m forever grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and excellence that Capital Construction brought to such a difficult chapter of my life.
