“I recently established care at Sentara Family Medicine, Lorton. Been hunting around for several months! So many doctors of late seem as though they are just going through the motions and not really hearing you at all. In my search, I excluded practices where people cited rude and disrespectful office staff.

My appointment with Dr. Nolan Patel and all staff that I encountered was very positive. His empathy and compassion for my health concerns was very much appreciated. He is very approachable and non-judgmental. Dr. Patel's suggestions/direction regarding certain matters were considerate, reassuring and insightful. Also, kudos to the third year med student who assisted! Note, my spouse has been a patient for many years, and has not had any complaints.“

Very respectful. Not rushed. And I learned a lot of new things from him (including some differential diagnoses that I had never heard of that now make tons of sense), and the way he’s discussed things with me it seems he learns a lot from his patients too. His approach was a participatory one with me and he combines traditional medicine with integrative approaches if that appeals to you. That combo is exactly what works for me. And his nurse Candra is great. Also since he does house calls, he can recommend other specialists who do the same. They have also been very good.“

“I can't say enough good things about the doctors here. I've been having shortness of breath, pain, arm numbness, high heart rate, and some other weird symptoms since catching COVID and multiple back to back respiratory infections. I first saw Dr. Mohammadi at the Springfield office and loved her. She was so thorough and kind. Since then I've been back to see Dr. Tebyanian twice because I cannot seem to figure out what is causing my symptoms. I recently went in with the same issues and Dr. Tebyanian ordered an EKG and fit me in for an echocardiogram right after to try to figure out what is wrong. She is also very kind and has a great bedside manner. She's given me several options for managing my high cholesterol which I appreciate because I have had some negative reactions to different medicines. I appreciate being listened to because no one wants to be dismissed when they are trying to figure out what is wrong and they legitimately do not feel well. And many doctors are so quick to brush women off. I also appreciate that I've been able to get seen really quickly at either of the Amelia Heart offices and would highly recommend this office. I've never had an issue with the wait time. I'm always seen promptly.“
