“I know anytime I see only 5 start reviews, I question the authenticity. Not here. Khan took me with little advance notice and I had never been to him before, just saw his work. The transformation was incredible. I'm 61 and he made me look so "hip" lol. I had a wedding to go to and soooo many people at work and the wedding commented on how amazing my hair looked. He trimmed it (fixed my mistakes of cutting it myself ;), touched up my roots, fixed the color and put in highlights, and styled it to perfection. So grateful.“

“I was in Ashburn to attend a wedding. The weather was bad. It was drizzling and naturally my hair needed care (with 24 hours left for the event). I yelped several places and I came up upon this haircare studio. At first, I was told there was no appointment; when I explained my situation Laura/Lauren (the lady who answered the phone) was extremely understanding, very kind, very prompt with her communication and she set up a quick appointment for me!!!! This not truly speaks to their commitment, communication and thoughtfulness. But it also speaks to the level of service on some level. Once the appointment was set up, I drove in (of course, finding the space for a newbie in that area was a little difficult - to locate them ) ....that incident too shows their support!!!! they were so kind. They walked right up to the carwash area, spotted my car and guided me back to their door. confetti and brownie points yet again. I was brought to the second floor. A young lady helped with washing my hair, and then I got moved to Umber's booth. Umber is super nice, efficient. She understood exactly what I wanted and delivered. I wanted my hair with a tiny curl inward and she did it. She also applied some products so that I could keep my hair perfectly styled just in case it started to drizzle! I walked out feeling amazing. My hair was done just right and I was ready for the wedding.... They have a good collection of hair products. I also found some really nice refrigerator magnets. All in all, a beautiful hair studio in Ashburn - do visit !!!!!“

During my H&MU trial in January, I was impressed by Connie's ability to stay true to the inspo pics I shared while still making adjustments to optimize the look based on my features and dress, her technical knowledge of lighting and photography, and her experience working with other clients at the same venue. She shared a few skincare recommendations to prep for the wedding, and I found her tips so helpful I've incorporated them into my post-wedding routine as well! On the big day, Connie went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. She arrived early to set up, diligently adhered to our schedule, and even stayed a little after H&MU was finished to see if any adjustments were needed as things got going. Throughout H&MU, Connie checked in to make sure I was happy with how things looked and even made adjustments or started over on different elements to ensure they met her standards as well! Connie approached the day with the utmost care, and I was at complete ease that things would turn out perfectly in her hands.
