“Mark has been our groomer for 4 years now, and we love him like family! He is so patient and caring with our fur baby, and she looks perfect after every groom. She hops in the car excitedly when I tell her we’re going to see Mark!
We had an issue with another groomer while Mark was out of the office for a few weeks, but the manager handled it with care and professionalism and was more than accommodating to resolve the situation, and I was very satisfied with the outcome. No one is perfect, but Olde Town Pet Resort and all of the staff is as close as you can get! The front desk staff is incredible too, and it’s obvious they have a love for their job and the clients, always welcoming and organized every time. 10 out of 5 stars, I can’t recommend them highly enough!“

“My dog Lilac loves going to the vet. In fact she has taken me there on walks. During Lilac's last yearly check up she didn't realize that she got two shots and had blood drawn. The doctors also find practical solutions if a problem arises. For example they suggested Zyrtec for her allergies instead of pushing something expensive.“

“Heart + Paw Ballston is the best! I take my pup here for urgent care needs, dental cleanings, and vaccinations. I trust Dr. Ashley Cleveland and can’t thank her and the team enough for always treating my pup with so much love. They also explain every charge beforehand so I can make informed decisions about costs. I never feel rushed even when I have so many questions about my pup’s wellness. It’s a bit of a drive for me to get to from PG County but knowing my baby is in great hands makes it worth it.“

“If I could give more stars, I absolutely would! I called around 6:10 PM, knowing they closed at 7, and asked if they could possibly squeeze my cat in for a nail trim and ear cleaning. They kindly said yes, and when I arrived, they took him in right away and had everything done within 10 minutes.

What really stood out to me was how gentle and patient they were with him. As a cat mom, I know how sensitive and shy cats can be, especially in unfamiliar environments. Usually, grooming appointments are very stressful for him, but this experience was completely different.

I could hear how softly and calmly she handled him, and afterward I was honestly amazed. Instead of being shaken up and hiding, he actually seemed more relaxed, confident, and brave. Seeing him content afterward meant so much to me.

“Dudes Dogs bent over backwards for us! We had an emergency and had to board our dog who had a small wound which she licked into a larger wound at Dudes Dogs due to being away from home. They called us and we gave them permission to take her to our vet. The owner (constant contact with me with text and photos) came and picked her up and waited with our sweet dog as she got some antibiotics. Dudes Dog team were so caring and throughly took care of our dog as we said our goodbye to a dear friend. Dudes Dogs is an amazing place that you can trust your furry family member is in good hands all the time. xoxox“

“We were able to board our pup of 4 years in very short notice. We could not be more grateful for Hometown to have availability for her to stay for almost a week. They were very accommodating, and had a schedule laid out to take care of her and take her on walks.
They were understanding of her nervousness, especially separation anxiety. When I called to check in on her, they responded with patience. They were supportive and honest on how she was doing.
It’s clear that she was well taken care of and treated with care during her stay!“

“We tried boarding our highly anxious cat for the first time while abroad so someone could give her the anti-anxiety pills every morning.

While our baby had a complete meltdown and became highly aggressive as soon as we left, the staff did everything they could to calm her and make her more comfortable. We were given updates on her status everyday and, at some points, were in even closer/more constant contact as we were concerned. At no point did they give up trying and when I came in early to pick her up, I could see just how much they cared for her and at no point did anyone blame her, they were so sympathetic to her anxiety kept reassuring me that she was not aggressive, she was just distressed, which is the exact mentality you would want from the people taking care of you pet for a weekend.

To the owners and staff, I just want to truly thank you all so much for the way you handled the situation and how you took such great care of our cat where many places would have given up with the behavior she was exhibiting.

“We can’t recommend training at affectionate Pet Care enough. We were struggling with our dog’s extreme anxiety and reactivity which caused her to bark, growl and jump at strangers. Tom understood our dog’s personality and tailored the training perfectly. He taught us how to handle her and she is so much happier and content. I’ve been taking my cat to NOVA Cat Clinic for three years and highly recommend it to other cat parents. The vets and techs are sensitive to my cat’s preferences, gentle during exams, and take time to explain everything clearly. When my cat shows signs of stress, they never push; instead, they suggest coming back another day for bloodwork if needed, which makes visits much more comfortable for all of us.
