We had vacation planned & had to be out of town when he needed to be there to clean up after our leaky pipe caused water damage, & he did was awesome to work with us despite not being able to easily communicate. He got the work done & was courteous & respectful of our home while we were out of town (we did have someone house sitting for us to let him & be there while he was working). “Scott and his crew did a great job. We had an exterior stucco wall and interior building damaged caused by a driver who lost control of his automobile. The advantage of using a business like Certified is they handle all of the communication and coordination with sub-contractors (or their people) and the city (for permits, if needed). Their work quality is high--we are satisfied and pleased with results.

The only downside is it's quite expensive. Repairs are often (if not exclusively) paid by insurance--so we consumers don't feel the primary impact, but instead indirectly through insurance premiums The Crux: insurance pays now, we pay later.

It's a notch in our economy where these companies must be quite profitable as they have learned to navigate the world that involves building restoration and insurance companies. Granted, labor & materials costs have risen in recent years. But it is really nice to have this service. I tried the DIY path remotely for some months and didn't make progress towards resolution.

Scott was great to provide a 'smooth ride' for me the customer--which otherwise would have been a bumpy ride dealing w/ the details. Scott is a decent guy. He does of fine job of balancing the priorities of their business with needs of his clients.“
