“We had booked the 90 minute couples massage. The studio was located in a private home but it was easy to find and the studio was clean with dimmed lights and a beautiful atmosphere. The massage beds were heated and all the equipment used was very comfortable and in great condition. The massage was the best we ever had! Both massage therapists were very professional and the massage was according to our individual needs: I was 5 months pregnant and was laying on a bolster and wedge to put me in a comfortable position and have a great massage without putting discomfort or pressure on my belly. It was so comfortable and the pain in my lower back and tightness in my shoulder and neck got released. Very relaxing!!! My husband got a deep tissue massage for his tight muscles. Both massage therapists were very professional in using the blankets and sheets as a cover, at no point did we ever feel exposed or uncomfortable. We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere and silence during the massage. It was an amazing experience, if you want a good massage experience, prenatal massage or date night, this is the place to go! Recommendation: plan nothing else for the rest of the day, this massage is going to make you tired.“

“I was able to attend a small event here and received a mini facial. You do need to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the spa. I really enjoyed the experience and the staff was very kind. Been going for almost a decade and I make it a priority to get a massage every time I'm in town There's a reason they're booked out far so always make reservations further out than you think. I made a couples massage reservation weeks ago. Hot tip: they do 15% off sales a few times a year so get on their email list and buy a package since they don't expire. We got their Kura massage and they were able to get us in the same room. It was so relaxing and every time we go, I always regret not getting the 90 min massage. My massage therapist Kierstie was incredible! I mentioned my neck and upper back pain and she perfectly focused on them and the surrounding muscles to loosen all the tightness. My husband had Heather and he said she was great too! The massage beds at Kura Door got a big upgrade years ago to medical beds so you can get maneuvered into positions that are more optimal to get certain muscles. Ugh! I can't love this place enough. It's peaceful from the minute you walk in. You're escorted to take your shoes off and shown the dressing room to change into your robe. The waiting area has warm water, dried fruit, cold water and teas that are DIVINE! We didn't get a facial but in past times, I generally always get one.“
