“If I could give Avery Eye Clinic 10 stars, I would. I had no idea how drastically my quality of life could change almost overnight. I’m 45, and I’ve had extremely poor vision my entire life, -18 myopia with astigmatism. I’ve worn contacts since age 10 and glasses since around age 6. I was wanting an eye exam for a new prescription and glasses.

Unaware upon examination we discovered my blood pressure was at stroke level.

My right eye had evidence of having had a small stroke potentially caused by blood pressure issue I was experiencing.

Ultimately, I went directly to an ER and had blood pressure addressed, having to follow up with cardiologist.
