“RIchard Shingleton is an outstanding tradesman and craftsperson. He came out to give me a quote on replacing a 23 year old water heater.
Not only were they on time, they were actually a few minutes early for their window with no pressure on me at all. He gave me a no nonsense competitive quote, flat rate, no upsell, no bs.
We tacked on a few jobs I needed while he was out, and honestly he and Proven Plumbing gave me a pretty good deal beating out the competition.
When approved they got right to work, they had everything they needed, and got that job and the other smaller jobs done in about 2 to 2.5 hours.
Not only fast, but I swear there was not a spec of dirt, no drop of water, no scuff on literally anything when they left. It literally looked like a new water heater appeared like magic. In a trade like this that is quite a hard feat to accomplish.
Next, and what really sold me on Richard and the company is how they handled a concern of mine. I heard a rattling when turning on the shower after the install and began investigating.
I checked a few things, but couldn't check the expansion tank because of the positioning. I assumed (falsely) that there might be a problem there, but couldn't prove it.
After trying to get a gauge on it and working outside for a bit I called, and they set up an appointment. I'm sure in my frustration I didn't sound pleasant. Not intended, embarrassing, but it happened.
Richard came right back out, no charge, and punctual just like the first time. Adjusted the expansion tank so I could get my gauges on it, and showed me that all was well. That truly meant the world to me. And helped me narrow down what was actually going on in the shower.
I cannot recommend Richard, and Proven Plumbing enough. I have never had an experience so positive.
