I was given their phone number by a friend when I didn't have a lot of money; about 11yrs ago. The Optometrist was very helpful. He told me that he helps out a lot of people. They have been helping low income families to get glasses for a very long time. The assistant has been there just as long. She's helped out a lot of people as well. I got affordable, good quality eye glasses at a decent price. At that point wasn't thinking about going to the VA until later. This is the ONLY place that does quality work and at a WAY CHEAPER price than a commercial eye glasses shop. I recommend this place to whoever and whenever I can.

I needed a second pair of glasses and unfortunately my taste runs to the fashionable, read: expensive. I know that wally market sells glasses, but boy are those boring.... And then I found Sharon! This is just a little shop, but her frames are pretty cool looking and surprisingly affordable. Sharon is very nice and knowledgable. Check it out next time you're shopping for glasses. Optometrist on site part-time.

This might not be in the best part of Austin. However, the customer service is outstanding. I'm very pleased. I've been going here for years and years. They have good prices on glasses and contacts. I have not found another vision place with the same friendly and down to earth customer service like here.
