Heartsong Music offers Music Together classes focused on musical exploration for young children, with alot of play and running around. The studio provides a play space before and after that allows community development. Children develop rhythm and interest in music, enjoying tinkering with instruments. The classes are fun and engaging for kids and adults. Teachers are fantastic, wonderful, and super patient, incorporating many different songs, props, and instruments. They really know what they are doing and put a lot of thought into their classes. The new location is wonderful too. Heartsong is a treasured time of the week, and the teachers make each experience so special. Families recommend these classes to other parents.
We’ve been attending Music Together since our daughter was 6 months old (in CA), and then kept going with Heartsong when we moved to Austin. Love the focus on musical exploration for young children - which means alot of play and running around and general exuberance - that is not frowned upon; and appreciate the play space before and after at the studio that allows community development. Things we love since she’s been in these classes - she has rhythm, is interested in music generally and enjoys tinkering with instruments (and neither parent is musically inclined). I’d highly recommend these classes!
Our son has been going to classes at Heartsong since he was about six months old. He is two years old now and still loves going every single week. The new location is wonderful too. The teachers are just fantastic and they incorporate a lot of different songs, props, instruments, etc. thanks so much to shanan and kerrie for making his experience so special.
My son and I both love the classes. They are fun and engaging for kids and adults. You can tell that the teachers really know what they are doing and put a lot of thought into their classes. We have taken classes with a couple of different teachers and they are all wonderful and super patient. Definitely recommend it to other parents!
