The highlight of my week, a mere review can't reflect how happy I am to work with him. More than a speech pathologist, he truly cares about his clients. My polyp has improved in a short time and will only accelerate as I commit to vocal hygiene and his exercises. His commitment to zen and positive, appreciative energy is what I need when facing something as crappy as a polyp. I can't wait to heal so we can push my vocal boundaries even further.
Erik is very passionate about what he does, I can feel his energy talking to him. He was able to lead me the spiritual realm when he was using his voice to help me mediate. And he is able to teach me how to pronounce things very accurately so that Americans can understand me perfectly (I've been struggling with that for years).
In my experience, Erik is unique in his field in that he is a scientifically qualified voice expert but isn't afraid to take an holistic approach - incorporating alternative healing methods as part of his treatment that are both effective but also assist in alleviating the anxiety so often associated with (in my case) being a professional singer who has lost their voice.
He has also created a beautiful space to work from. I was expecting a very clinical environment but was surprised to find his practice is designed to feel both inviting and comfortable.
