I've been taking the pets here since Saltillo opened and called to make an appointment for one of the furballs who was feeling under the weather. I was told that this facility only schedules appointments for surgeries and not regular vet appointments, which is disappointing to hear.Just something for everyone to keep in mind as they're looking for a vet in this area.

I made an appointment at the beginning of the week for my dog who injured himself and was unable to use his hind leg. The appointment was confirmed with the staff a few days later. The day of my pet’s appointment, they canceled it because there was,” not enough doctor coverage.” I explained that he had been injured for over a week, it was Sunday and, due to the late notice, I couldn’t even take him to another vet. I have nothing but good things to say about Banfield Pet Hospital.My dog had been having blood in his stool and stomach pain FOR A YEAR. I had taken him to the emergency room twice, vet specialists and other veterinary clinics and nothing could help. He had been through X-rays, a food that left him on his bones with constant diarrhea (to see if it was food allergy). Blood test after blood test and they were suggesting a biopsy at that point. My dog is TERRIFIED OF VETS NOW because of being in and out of hospitals for a year.I spent THOUSANDS, I didn’t know what else to do.
