He has a niche for doing complex projects no one else wants to tackle and many builders think he is one of the higher priced out there. They are wrong. I had 3 bids and he was perfectly balanced in the middle low end price. You can tell he’s been doing this since 1979 and has had this current crew for around 20yrs and they are as meticulous as Mark is! He cares so much he will do certain phases himself (windows, doors, sealing/caulking etc). Thank you Mark Cozart for a product that can be passed down for decades to come! We love it!”

“When me and my wife wanted to build our forever home, we interviewed with six different construction companies and was about to give up and move forward on our own until we came across Shelton Construction. From day one their team was professional, meticulous, and showed a great deal of attention to detail. Frank Shelton was also very patient as we were very demanding on what we wanted with myself being handicapped and needing an ADA accessible home. There often were times when Frank went above and beyond to explain to us what they were doing as the project progressed. When you’re dealing with new construction, there are thousands of small decisions that have to be made. Frank’s team not only made them, but included and explained them to us along the way. They also made many recommendations for things that no one else thought of. For example, making a slight adjustment to the concrete forms to allow sloped thresholds on the large garage doors to make wheelchair access more accommodating. The whole process was seamless, within budget, and of the highest quality. With all of the self-proclaimed custom home builders out there… I’d recommend Shelton Construction over any of them for anyone who is planning on building a custom home and wants it done right the first time.<br><br>Darrell and Felicia Carlin”
