“I was at the vet today with my dog, who was admittedly being very difficult and resistant. Despite that, Dr. Thomas and the entire staff were outstanding. They went beyond just being clinically professional — they were genuinely kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire visit.

Even with our dog being scratchy and volatile, everyone remained calm, reassuring, and supportive. As an owner, that made a huge difference. I never felt judged or rushed; instead, I felt like they truly understood the situation and cared about both my dog’s well-being and my comfort as an owner.

Dr. Thomas took the time to talk through a thoughtful plan to help Winnie feel more comfortable in the office going forward, which I really appreciated. It was clear this wasn’t just about getting through the appointment, but about building a better experience for future visits.

“I showed up at their door early and without an appointment and also a new client because my dog, Mazie, was very ill. Being a tech, I pretty much knew what was going on with her and they were amazing the way they worked with me with her diagnostics and care. They were very compassionate and made me feel as if I had been taking her there for her entire life. Thanks to everyone that made my experience a good one being as that it ended with such sadness. The staff took this in to great consideration and paid great attention to Rocco's warnings of having enough for the day. “My first WesVet experience with Dr. Wes was exceptional. We were greeted with warmth and kindness when we first arrived and then Whitney offered coffee, which was delicious.

I was early, but they had a room ready for me and my kitty Alley. Lindsey (Vet Tech) came in and asked all the right questions and you could see the love she had for animals was genuine.

Dr. Wes came in and performed a comprehensive evaluation from head to toe of Alley. He was friendly, kind and most knowledgeable. He has extensive experience with cats which is very important.

He took his time with Alley and she felt very comfy with him.

He was well versed regarding Alley’s past history (diabetic, remission 3 years and diabetic again) as their intake form offers them valuable information regarding your pets and their needs.

We discussed management of Alley’s condition and his recommendations, and we left happy and most satisfied with Dr. Wes and his entire staff.

The next day, I received an email (Clinical Summary) from Dr. Wes documenting our visit and everything that was discussed and how we would proceed in the future.

“Both of my cats have received excellent care from Berry Hill Animal Hospital for over a year. My favorite thing about this veterinary practice, and specifically Dr. McElyea, is how much they educate pet owners. When we got our second cat, they took the time to give us tips on introducing our cats and decreasing aggression. Most recently, Dr, McElyea took the time to brainstorm and share tips of how to help my cat with weight loss. She even calculated the calories per day my cat should be eating and came up with a target weight. I really appreciate the time and effort that the vets put into our cats care. I’d recommend them to anyone in the Nashville area!“

“Harding Animal Hospital is the best care for our cats we could ask for! Each doctor (we've seen Dr. Wall and Dr. Bonavita) listen attentively and address each and every concern we have with equal weight, don't rush the appointment, and make sure they've answered all of our questions.

When my cat was dealing with issues that weren't clear at first, Dr. Bonavita took time out of her day to call and check up on our cats, get any extra information, and answer our questions after our appointment was over. Harding even called us the next day to check in. Love this place!“

“Dr. Shinar was so attentive and kind. I am a nurse and I care a lot about my dog so I had several questions. He was very thorough answering my questions and even after my visit he sent me a link to an educational article/website about my dog’s condition. He also pulled up her chest x day and went over it with me. Additionally, they also have next day appointments available which is great when more emergent issues come up. My dog broke her nail off completely and they saw her the next day. The staff is super friendly and I can’t give Dr. Shinar enough praise. He takes time to do a thorough assessment and educate owners. So happy I found a good vet after moving to Nashville!“

“I have been taking my older cat to LUVC for the last few years and have been really happy with the care provided. The clinic is clean, comfortable and all of the staff have been extremely kind, empathetic, accommodating and helpful as my cat has had some health issues that required problem solving, early morning drop offs and last-minute appointments. I have never been pressured to get unnecessary services, and they are always upfront with the pricing and always explain all the options, especially if there are more economical priced medications/solutions; I appreciate the understanding of the cost of care on the owner. Dr. McCormick and his staff took excellent care of my dog. He was very knowledgeable and explained in detail how to treat her at home. I was very grateful that he was patient and did not rush me out.
