I had an appointment on March 5th with Dr.Finn. My app. started at 11;00 and I was to see Dr. Finn at 11:15. The first part of the exam went as scheduled and then I sat in the waiting room for almost one hour. I finally asked one of the nurses if she could check and see how much longer it would be and she said she would get me back in the next available room. After about 10 minutes I was called back into an exam room. My Husband was with me and when we entered the room it smelled very strongly of alcohol. Google maps sends you to the wrong location. It sends you to a gated parking lot on Charlotte Ave. Make sure you put in the address of 2311 Pierce Ave, Nashville, TN 37232 into your GPS instead of just typing in Vanderbilt Eye Institute.
My whole experience with VEI was wonderful! After 2 other eye places would not do cataract surgery in their clinics because of my BMI and then took their time scheduling me in a hospital, Vandy did it!
Dr. Sheih took the time to listen to me and explained everything to me. Her aftercare instructions are very detailed and explains what different things I experience might be.
I do not agree with the negative reviews of Dr. Shieh.
