But last week I took a white blazer to them that had a gigantic coffee stain on it, and they were able to get that coffee stain out. I don’t think I’ve ever hugged a dry cleaner before! “Ms. Zahra at Unique Alterations was incredible to work with! I was brand new to the Nashville area looking for alterations for my wedding dress for my FL wedding. Being a 'sample sale' dress it was a bit big for me and needed quite the adjustment, especially after losing weight and requesting a change in the original design of the hem. She was able to not only get the dress to fit me perfectly but also got it done earlier than expected in order to get the dress to the FL destination for the wedding ahead of time!

I was absolutely thrilled when I put my dress on for the final time- it was PERFECT! It fit like a glove and looked like it was made to fit me from scratch versus being a 'sample sale' dress that was originally a few sizes too big.

Her attention to detail is unmatched and her genuine care makes you feel as confident as any bride would want to feel when trusting someone with their wedding dress! I would highly recommend Ms. Zahra to anyone but especially any brides that were stressed like I was! She eased all my worries and absolutely exceeded all of my expectations! “I ran into an issue when trying to pick up my wedding dress because I wasn't aware that the attendant hours had changed. I arrived around 5:45 PM and found that no one was there. I called the number listed on the card at the counter, and someone answered right away. They were kind enough to come to the store and help me retrieve my wedding dress, especially since the store didn't open until 10:00 AM and my wedding ceremony was at 10:30 AM the next morning.
I really appreciated their excellent customer service and willingness to help during such an important moment. Their quick response saved me a lot of stress, and I'm very grateful for their assistance. Thank you!“

“Nicholson’s does a good job for the price, speed, and convenience. I generally wash and hang dry most of my family’s clothes and then have them “press only” so that my garments are perfect and super clean. They also do a good job at alterations - hemming and more complex items. There are way more high-end and outstandingly expensive drycleaners in Nashville - I’ve tried them all and paid $175 for one cashmere sweater to be cleaned - but Nicholson’s did just as good a job as the most expensive places. They have never ruined an item and the team is very nice and turns things around super quickly. I’ve been going there almost weekly for two years and would recommend them if you are Germantown, East, etc.“
