It was for an event with my childrens’ school and I walked in, said what I had going on, the stylist was so enthusiastic and knew exactly what she wanted to do to my hair and it was so so fabulous! I loved that I could just show up to my appt and let the stylist take it from there. I know I could also have said I wanted any type of style and she would have been able to make it happen !
I needed to have my daughters prom dress tailored. I was told by a different alteration place that he would charge me 650.00 to tailor the dress and would have to lose the strip of net crinoline at the bottom of the dress. Losing this would mean the dress would lose its shape. My mother (always know best) told me to take it to CJ Alterations. I did and was charged appropriately and they did an amazing job!! Perfect! And the net crinoline is still there. The dress looks perfect.Also, the other alteration stores I visited weren't very clean and had bad smells. CJ Alterations is very clean and smells clean. You won't have to worry that your dress will stink when you get it back.

Our stylist Tamera was AMAZING!!! My son has issues with new people and people touching his hair but she made his first haircut a fun experience! If you don't have a stylist you can trust like I do with Gypsy at Gypsy Nix Studio, then you are missing out! Gypsy is amazing with hair and makeup. When I can get ready for my wedding without any large mirrors available and believe that everything looks great because Gypsy did my hair and makeup that's a perfect combo of trust and talent!!
I had the pleasure of getting a blowout by Hannah at Studio Twenty-Three, and the experience was exceptional. The salon's location is fantastic, with a beautifully decorated and intimate setting. Hannah's welcoming nature and sweet southern charm made me feel right at home. Our conversation was so enjoyable that I almost forgot I was getting a blowout!
Hannah was incredibly thorough, and the results were outstanding. I continued to receive compliments on the shine of my hair days after the blowout! The salon was impeccably clean, and my hair felt wonderfully clean and refreshed afterward.
I love Aveda and I love a good salon. This is a cute spot in Germantown and they do amazing hair and nails as well. They carry most Aveda hair pertussis and have parking as well.
First of all it is no longer Pastiche Salon, it is now Salt & Light Salon. I followed my long time hair stylist Rebecca from A La Mode Salon which is now closed. Most of their great stylists are now at Salt & Light.Rebecca is the best! I really like the interior design changes that have been made inside this salon too. I can't say enough good things about this great place!

Never have had a problem at this location. Always very nice, and friendly. I have been getting mine washed and blowdried out for almost 5 years now. Always do a great job. If one gets tied up, another will ask if you want another stylist to take you . Always very respectful of clients time. Won't go anywhere else.
When I first came in, Indea Jones greeted me at the door, and took me to take a seat at her chair in the back, at that moment I already knew that the service was going to be excellent… we talked over what I was thinking about doing with my hair, and completed an analysis on my hair to see if the haircut would be possible, I have never been treated better at a hair salon. Indea made sure that I was liking the haircut at every stage of the process, and in the end she washed my hair… that was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hair salon. Indea Jones got me the best haircut I could’ve ever gotten. If you are thinking of visiting house of Aglaia, make sure you check indea’s work out. Best 5 stars I’ve ever given.

Mackenzie is absolutely amazing! I was super nervous about finding a hair stylist as I only lived in Memphis about a year and have had some trauma stories regarding getting my hair done. But upon emailing and meeting Mackenzie she not only put my nerves to ease but she was also extremely sweet and kind. It was a very personal and friendly environment, nothing like hanging out in the big busybody salon stations. She saw my vision better than I did and I walked out absolutely loving myself and my new hair color. I can not wait to see her again!

Stacey was knowledgeable about the GI tract, and she takes her time to make sure you understand how it is supposed to work and how different foods and other factors impact the intestines. I needed a relaxation day, so I made an online appointment at LifeSpa. The online process was simple to use. The receptionist was friendly and gave me water while I waited. Tiffany gave me a facial. She analyzed my skin and suggested proper products. Cordero gave me a massage. He gave proper attention to particularly tense muscles, and I felt like a new person afterward. I love this place. I highly recommend LifeSpa for massage and facial service. They are top notch!
I’m thrilled to have Toney as my manicurist. She is so dedicated to doing a great job and always upbeat and pleasant. She does go “ over and beyond “ for her clients. I’ve had some nail problems . She advised me to go to a podiatrist. He said she was right to refer me out and the problem was addressed. She is efficient but is super conscientious, taking enough time to do a good job. I always feel happy and relaxed after our appointments!

I googled until I found a plumber with great ratings and that's how I selected Cordova Plumbing. Once David and I coordinated a service time he was not only on time, he was really friendly and was able to figure out my issue rather quickly. We were really hoping the wall wouldn't have to be gone into and David determined that wasn't the case. He also took care of another problem we had while present. Not being able to pay the day of service was different for me and not knowing the amount owed the day of service but I feel the pricing was good. I'll definitely be using Cordova Plumbing for any future plumbing needs and I highly recommend!

We bought our first hand-knotted rug from Heydar about 15 years ago and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in the process. Not long after we purchased another beautiful rug from him. Most recently Heavenly Rugs picked up, cleaned and delivered our rugs to our new home. Heydar and his staff were very professional when laying our rugs. The team at Forest Hill Dental not only met my expectations, but exceeded them in every way. My daughter and I showed up a week early for a routine cleaning (totally my error ?). The front desk bent over backwards to try and accommodate our needs. The hygienist’s cleaning was thorough yet painless. Dr. Vick had such an attentive and gentle approach with us. He addressed my questions and concerns without feeling rushed. I will try not to be overly enthusiastic and show up a week early next time…see ya’ll again in 6 months. The Wooton Clinic itself is a GREAT place! I’ve actually been going for a little over a year now. It’s the scheduler/receptionist, Wanda, that’s the worst. I hear people complain about her a lot when it comes down to them having to reschedule their appointment or not being able to make it. By law, we aren’t obligated to tell them why we aren’t going to make it, but she’s so forceful and rude that she wants to know why. When you tell her, she makes smart remarks as if that’s not important or it doesn’t matter.That’s not professional at all!

I recently had to bring my dog, a 14 1/2 year old Blue Heeler, in for a splenectomy, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the initial diagnosis to the surgery and post-op care, the entire team was professional, compassionate, and thorough.
After the surgery, Sasha was understandably groggy when she got home, and as expected, she showed some discomfort, panting and vocalizing for the first two nights. However, it was comforting to see that she behaved exactly as outlined in the detailed post-op instructions, which reassured me that her recovery was on track. By the third day, she was noticeably more comfortable—she even barked and laid on her side, which she hadn't done since the surgery. Now, just four days post-op, she’s recovering incredibly well and no longer seems to need pain medication.
I’m grateful for the excellent surgical team that helped her through this process. Their clear communication, detailed instructions, and genuine care made all the difference during a stressful time. Thank you for taking such great care of her!

Shelley is amazing ?? I’m a 40 year old dental hygienist and she is helping me keep my back and neck in good shape!! She is thorough during the appointment. She also gives helpful tools like stretching exercises and shares good info on products to use in between visits (ie foam rollers, balls, etc)
