“I am from out of town and stumbled upon Christopher Optical, which has to be the BEST OPTICAL SHOP ANYWHERE. Not only was the work we needed meticulous and skilled, the customer service was truly remarkable. We called the shop after 7 PM on a Friday night expecting a recording and got a live person, owner Joel McWhorter. Joel asked what we needed and invited us to come on over even though the shop had closed at 5 PM. My daughter’s glasses were unwearable going into Memorial Day weekend, and Joel repaired them beautifully. He also found a way to repair a tricky problem on my own frame and would not accept payment for either repair. He offered information and made several suggestions for future improvements that will be very helpful. Christopher Optical is a rare business in this day and age.
