“I took my 9 year old here for an exam and we had a wonderful experience. Each staff member was very kind and professional, specifically Rae (I hope I am remembering and spelling her name correctly). She did a wonderful job making my daughter feel comfortable and patiently explaining each part of the process. Dr. Hegener was fantastic and my daughter loved seeing her. We look forward to staying with Nigh Eye Group and would recommend to anyone looking for an eye doctor in the area.

(As a side note, their online portal is extremely easy to use to set up an appointment. I personally love having the option to make appointments online rather than calling and giving insurance info, comparing calendars, etc.)“

“I started having problems with dizziness in May 2024. I was unable to drive and could not walk down the sidewalk without holding onto my husband and using a hiking pole. Two months of vestibular therapy were helpful, but did not get me to the finish line. I saw several specialists, had CT scans and MRIs, but no one could determine the problem. I kept thinking my eyes were involved, but no one agreed and kept saying it would get better. I finally called my eye doctor, and he then referred me to Dr. Rose. Fortunately, a cancellation opened up and I was able to see her quickly. After extensive testing, she made changes to the prescription for my glasses and added filters. And while I don’t really understand what all she did, it was amazing and gave me my life back! I can drive, I can walk down the sidewalk without staggering – it has been a true blessing and I am so thankful for her care.“

“I had my annual eye exam today with Dr. Bernardi and, as always, received expert care. He takes the time to explain things to me…today’s topic was cataracts, so I better understand what’s going on in my eye. After the exam I meet with one of the opticians who helped me select a new pair of frames. I was impressed with her knowledge of the various kinds of lenses that she suggested and she never got tired of explaining my options to me. “This place is amazing. I was having trouble with my eye seeing floaters. He explained what was happening and he took such good care of the situation.
My husband had his last pair of glasses filled by a dr we had for 20 years. We moved here and this dr gave the best exam explanation to everything he did and then gave my husband new glasses they were perfect. The staff cares. “Excellent eye exam. I was nervous, having moved recently from another state. They made me feel comfortable. The level of care was excellent. The optic exam showed something that might have been a retinal tear or scar. They referred me to an exceptional retinal expert for consultation the next day. I was seen and it was determined that it was a scar. I was reassured that my eyes were in excellent health. I am extremely pleased and impressed with the entire experience. The office was highly efficient and helpful. Clean and well maintained. They gave directions in case I needed them.“
