I started coming to Salon La Vie after negative experiences at another salon in Sumter, and a friend recommended this salon. I have been SO happy with my experiences here! I always see Jamie for my hair color and cuts. She got the perfect color for me for my roots that had grown in, and when I said I wanted to make a big change and try bangs, she gave me the perfect cut and taught me how to style the bangs and the face framing layers. Everyone at the salon is so kind, the pricing is very reasonable, and I have never had to wait long at all. Jaime is so fun to chat with while she does my hair, and the whole environment of the salon is professional and warm.

I had gotten a horrible hair cut from Great Clips, bald spots, and I was crying walking out of there. A friend had told me about Parlor Darling next to Baker’s Sweets, Mandy fixed my hair to where you could not see the bald spots. My hair was so pretty again. This is where my whole family goes now. The waiting area is comfortable too.

I’ve been going to faded barbershop to see Jabaar for about 8 months or so now and he’s a real genuine guy who knows how to cut hair extremely well and get you the end result your looking for. Always good conversation, good vibes and good people. 15/10, recommend y’all to come here.

Living in Columbia and working outside of Lexington i rarely make it to Sumter, but after struggling to find a decent haircut out here I made a trip to see Kathy and it was well worth it. It was great catching up with her and man it felt good to have an amazing cut and beard trim. Imma be making the drive more often and it is more than well worth it.

I took my son there to get his hair cut, let me tell you he hates getting a hair cut. But the dude that cut my baby's hair was amazing. He didn't take a long time. he faded it on the sides left a little on top and put a little design on the side. when we walked out my baby was smiling from ear to ear. He said he wanted to go there for now on. we didn't have to wait for a chair. it was only 15$ but I give him a 10$ tip cause it was an awesome experience. we most definitely will be back and I will recommend anyone to them!!!!

I've been here a few times and all was fine, but today was an excellent experience and I felt I needed to leave a review.
I popped in on a whim and in a bit of a hurry. They were surprisingly quiet for a Friday afternoon. The lady that greeted me was super friendly and then I was directed to a chair where Angel gave me the best pedicure I have had in ages.
She was so thorough. I cringed when she pulled out the pointed trimmers because I have been hurt with those before, but she trimmed my nails amd cleaned everything up perfectly. No pain at all. She did a great job with my calluses and was thorough but didn't file anything too much. She did a beautiful job on my nails and was so meticulous she used a paintbrush with acetone to clean up all around my edges. I have had SO many pedis where they just left the over-painted parts and said they would wear off. Which, they do, but still...
Angel was so great I got her name so I can request her when I return. Because I WILL return from here on out. I suggest you request her, too, but only if you tip well ?

After moving to SC 3 years ago I have only been to 2 places here for a pedicure and haven't been overly impressed, so I usually wait until i go back "home". I will definitely be back and I will absolutely request Kia!!!
Requested style: I always get French tips which do cost a little extra no matter where you go.
Cleanliness: Everything that was used came out of a sealed bag. They use liners in the foot tubs and the store itself was well kept.
Stylist: Kia did a fantastic job on my pedicure. She was super sweet and we chatted about nothing like old friends.

Today I had the most AMAZING facial by Kaitlyn! I was already super impressed by her talents as an eyebrow artist, BUT after receiving a facial today I just had to let the world know what an amazing esthetician Kaitlyn is. She is extremely professional, punctual and personable. She has created a tranquil environment that allows you to relax and feel pampered well you receive your beauty service! I alway have a pleasant experience when I visit!!!
I recommend this salon to get a haircut or get highlights or another type of haircut and they speak Spanish and serve very well.
The barber is well experienced and very polite and respectful. My son's haircut was pleased by us both. I also enjoyed the gospel music. It was a positive atmosphere, and I will definitely be returning for another dope cut for my son.

She does wonderful work. She takes the time to style and care for my daughter's hair. She even had to fix another stylist, from another salon, messed up job. We learned not everyone can do hair, and not to trust just anyone to do it. Ms. LaDonna is one of the best and very trust worthy. If I have question on what products or how my daughter's hair can be done, I always go to her.

I got my first tattoo by Rhian and I will never have anyone else tattoo me. This is by far the most amazing art work and was the greatest experience ive ever had being in a tattoo shop. The detail that was put into the tattoo was perfect and after ten yrs I still get complements on how wonderful it looks. Had a storm knock a tree limb that kocked electricity out. They came out, quickly diagnosed, and repaired the problem.
Mrs Catherine Panomarenko, Never complained or called me. If she did I would have corrected the issues. I did 4 different jobs for this young lady. First job installing sink in her granite kitchen counter top. She stated that she was very pleased. Second modified her beautiful built in kitchen cabinets so that all doors and draws automatic close soft.She was happy and I corrected a couple other without additional charges. Third job for this young lady installed electric charger for both of their electric cars. Fourth job built Fire place mantle so that she could insert her electric fireplace logs.she was satisfied with no complaints. Installed a sauna in her bathroom. No complaints.
Back to the tile issues. On day one, I told Mrs. CATHERINE that I do not want to use Lowes tile because of cracking issues. Sub contract showed her some tile from Lowes, She stated to me that what she wanted. Although she went against my supplier, I would still corrected the issues but she never complained to me or gave me the opportunity to correct the issues. I am the GC I would have made the Sub-contractor corrected the issues

I too was assigned WJA by home warranty to repair a toilet that we ended up just replacing. They were great. really nice and helpful. Told me about an issue with my floor that needed to be dealt with - they don't do that kind of work and didn't refer me they were just looking out for a customer. You don't get that a lot anymore these days. I would have hired them to do the floor work if that was something they did.Working with home warranty companies can be frustrating for both customer and contractor - I think we need to remember that when making judgements about the contractors they send out to us. I will say working with 2-10 has been overall pleasant. Much better than my experience with AHS. I appeciate WJA being willing to work with them and doing such a nice job.

Dr Speller is so kind and gentle. You can really tell she loves what she does and it shows! She has so much patience with children and the parents. However, the reception staff could use some work. When we checked in we weren't greeted pleasantly which was a surprise. The other times we never experienced a issue. The rest of our visit for my son went well until we checked out. The young lady at checkout had her back to us talking with the the dental assistant. She then turned around in a very rude tone and asked "Are ya'll waiting on a school excuse or something?" To which i replied yes we are. She reacted like we were disturbing her and she seemed very annoyed. She asked if we needed a reminder about my son's cleaning to which I asked my husband if he had one but ultimately said yes. She was already writing the excuse but she kept mumbling under breath the whole time. Her whole demeanor was very unpleasant which was completely different from our last experience. Maybe it was a off day, but the attitude was very un necessary. Both young ladies were very monotone and dry like they did not want to be at work. I give Dr. Speller a 5 star rating but for her reception staff, I had to give 4 stars. It's such a stark contrast going from unpleasant reception staff to a super friendly and bright dentist.

We highly recommend Palmetto Paws for all your furbabies . We have a Great Dane that does not like having his nails trimmed. They did a great job with him even though he was anxious. They helped calm him down and they were able to trim his nails. Love Palmetto Paws for sure
