“When my dad passed I initially went with a different funeral home (won't mention the name because the people were very nice) that tried to majorly overcharge for their services. Having to pay for everything myself, I was at a standstill. After doing research and getting reccomendations I switched to Powers Funeral Home. Not only were their cremation options more affordable, but I was met with the most compassionate and caring staff. They made the process easy in this difficult time. As someone who has never had to handle a death, make decisions, or plan a memorial I couldn't have asked for better guidance than what I received at Powers. Every staff member I met went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I needed. I will also say that from the moment they received my dad into their care they took great care of him. I was able to see him and have a private moment with him before he was cremated (on 2 separate occasions) and they were very understanding and accommodating. I know they were very busy and they still took the time to let me have those moments I needed to get closure. I received his ashes the very next day after cremation secured in the urn I bought for him. Overall, they were wonderful and while my heart still hurts from my father's passing, I am glad I decided to go to Powers. I reccomended them to anyone dealing with a loss.”
