“Called Star appliance when our 5 year old Lg refrigerator went out. Had waited two days for lg to send a repair company out and the other company never showed up. I called star and Sean was at our house that afternoon. He dealt with lg, handled the warranty and had the parts within a couple days. He came out, did the repair and checked on us after to make sure everything was was operating properly. Very pleased. Will use them again in the future. Highly recommend.“

“I've used Oakes Appliance several times over the past year or so. Recently they saved me quite a bit of money when our freezer went out. There were a lot of possibilities ranging from a short in the cord to the main port. The office gave me the worse case scenario up front so I could compare repairing vs replacing. I decided to schedule a diagnostic visit and see what was happening. After checking and rechecking everything, a loose wire was found to be the culprit (the unit is 10 years old and been through 2 moves so not totally surprised). Once it was reseated and secured the freezer came back on. Appreciate the skillfulness of the technician and the helpfulness and the thoroughness of the office staff to provide me with the information I needed to decide what to do. Everyone has been very helpful and friendly with each of my encounters.“
