Dr. Catherine changed my life with her magic! I initially went to her for acupuncture for something medical, only to realize she helped me with so much more emotional. I describe going to her as an experience that touches all senses. It is calming, her office is beautiful, the music headphones was a game changer for me to totally zen out.
She not only does acupuncture, but she lends you her heart, her nervous system and her genuine care for you. She holds you and helps you at a time when you need it. I can't thank her enough for helping me and the ways she changed me and what I learned both about myself but life through her work.
JO Painting was hired to fix the worst paint job ever by Athletic Painting and Carpentry. I can't even express how bad it was. JO came in, took pride in all his work. was as particular as I am, left my house immaculate. I would give him one hundred stars if I could. I hired Dan to do a complete gut renovation a 2000 sf home in the historic hill section of Newport. The house was built in 1745 so we were looking for someone who was very knowledgeable and had some experience with historic renovations. We work in the real estate and contracting business in Boston so our expectations were high. Dan came highly recommended from another colleague who worked on a historic renovation with him.Dan was very straight forward and good about communicating what's going on with the project. His craftsmanship was top notch and he stayed on top of his sub contractors. The house came out better than expected and we couldn't be more pleased. We are now looking for our next project.

If i could leave a 20 star review, I WOULD. Jill literally saved my hair. I'm not exaggerating. When I first went to see Jill, my hair was falling out, fried, and all-together dead. Before seeing her, I tried every hair product across the board, expenses be damned. After my first appointment, she set me up with the Malibu hair-care line and showed me that my water was the real problem. I went from having an easily $500+ hair care routine that left my hair looking and feeling drab, thin, and motionless. Fast forward literally one month, I have a $120.00 hair care routine and its never felt healthier or happier. With my wedding fast approaching, I feel like Jill saved my life and wedding photos. Because of her, I can go into that day feeling and looking my best. Aside from her knowledge, she's so patient, kind, and compassionate. I admire her commitment to the community of Newport and would recommend her to anyone who needs a fresh hair start.

Top notch experience! Our group of 6 girls spent the day getting ready for a wedding at the Beauty Inn with Jennie and had the best time. Jennie did our hair and Make-up and it was exactly want we wanted! The lighting for photos in her studio was absolutely perfect!! We could have fit another 10 girls with plenty of space. Highly recommend Jennie for hair and makeup or as a rental space to get ready on Newport with your own stylist. 10/10!
I have recently moved to Newport after decades in Manhattan. I was very concerned with finding a new colorist. Well, I just can’t say enough good things about Remedy Beauty and Corrine Walker. Excellent color, cut, blowout, very efficient, sweet person. Just a great experience.

Walked in today trying to find a place to fix my 6 year old son’s DIY haircut that he gave himself. Jose was extremely friendly and offered to squeeze us in (without an appointment). All of the barbers were nice and easy to talk to. Jose did a great job fixing my kids hair and taking it from a disaster to one of his best cuts! The atmosphere was great and they did awesome with the kids and adults! It’s always nice to find a barber who is also comfortable and good with scissors/shears! We will definitely be back!
The ladies here are easy to talk to, funny and you feel like a friend here (at least I did). I’m still kicking myself for not coming here while we were stationed in Newport for the Naval War College. The ladies here do a great job as evidenced by my 25 day old no-chip manicure. As a military spouse, I’ve lived in many places and let me tell you the gel did not peel, and it did not chip!! This is what great work and good products looks like! If we are in the area again I will absolutely come here again!!

Jess is the absolute best!! She completely transformed my hair back to a healthy blonde and I honestly couldn’t be happier. She made the whole process so easy, walking me through each step and explaining everything in a way that made me feel totally comfortable and excited about the results! On top of that she recommended products that I’ve already started using and I can already see such a difference in my hair. I left the salon not only loving my color but feeling even better than I hoped I would :) I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!!

I've spent hundreds on massages and they just go over the knots in my shoulders. My masseuse felt them and spent a lot of time working them out - a lot of time and I couldn't be more happy! Finally someone who gets why you go and pay for another human to rub your back! I honestly cannot wait to go back. If your looking for all the high end decor and scents and fruited water this isn't your place - but they know how to give a good massage and make you feel like a million bucks walking out the door - well done!
Have done two Water Journeys here and would recommend it! I always leave feeling super relaxed and sleep so well afterwards. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and help create a peaceful atmosphere. I love the details like how they bring cool towels throughout the time, and being able to move through indoor and outdoor spaces. Hope to be back!
The facials and massages are always amazing. My only wish is that they would add saunas and steam rooms. It's really just an in and out for treatments but not an actual spa day with all the perks.

I have got two tattoo’s so far from Jen. They were two of my dogs that passed away. She captured the feeling I got when I looked at the photos I had her design my tattoos from. I literally cried! They are not overpriced for what you get. I needed my baby to be perfect and they were. I get compliments from everyone who sees them. I had to wait a while to get an appointment but it's worth the wait. Very clean and professional!

Movers damaged a panel from our bed during move in. My wife contacted Island Carpentry, and Steven responded promptly. After looking at photos, he quoted a fair price. He took the time to do the job right and stuck with the initial quote. Now the panel looks as good as new. Highly recommend them for furniture repair.Service: Refurbishment

We love our new Dentist and Rachel was absolutely amazing! She is so kind, calm and sweet. There is a lot of fun stuff in the waiting area then TVs on the ceiling in the room and they take requests! The coin-op (they give you the coins) prize machines and wacky balloons were just above and beyond!

If you can find parking, it's a great way to spend a day walking up and down the shops. Find anything from antiques to tourist clothing. Lot's of little eats, coffee and trinkets.
I had an excellent experience with Kenji Omori Massage Therapy. Kenji began the session by taking the time to understand which areas of my body needed the most attention and focus. We started with some targeted stretches, which helped loosen things up and prepared me for the massage.

Michelle is great Masseuse! I had "twinge" in my upper right shoulder blade for over a year and within several sessions, Michelle was able to get the knot out which provided a lot of relief to my pain. I would totally recommend seeing Michelle as she adds a very nice therapeutic touch to her practice which makes all the difference.
Seth did a fantastic job and really hit all the deep tension spots. With a combination of cupping, hot stone, and traditional deep tissue I could not recommend this spa more! What a gem in Newport!!
