“Matt from 7 Sons HVAC has been great to work with. Last year, he came out when my AC wasn’t cooling properly and took the time to show me what was going on. The outdoor unit had a lot of grass and dirt built up inside, and he showed me how to clean it properly. He also recharged the system with refrigerant and added leak detector so we could track down the problem if it came back.

This spring, when I realized the AC wasn’t cooling again, I called him back out. He found the issue with the indoor evaporator coil, clearly explained what was wrong, and showed me the work as he replaced it. I really appreciated that he didn’t just do the job and leave, he actually took the time to explain the system and what he was doing.

The AC is now working great. Matt was knowledgeable, honest, and easy to talk to. I’d definitely recommend him and 7 Sons HVAC to anyone needing AC or heating work.“

“It all started with Darin during the estimate. He gave his honest professional opinion to what made sense for our house. We were in need of new ac units and we were looking to add a heat pump to offset the cost of oil for heating our home. He advised with our current duct work and set up, he would not go with a heat pump. Our 1st floor ducts were not insulated and our 2nd floor ducts were coming from the ceiling. He also recommended adding in a return vent in our basement to help with humidity and using that cooler air down there to cool the rest of our house. Not one other company, and I had 4 come out, recommended this or gave advice against getting a heat pump. For the install Chris and his partner was able to smoothly install the two units in 2 days. We are very pleased with the whole process.“

We were having issues with our kitchen sink, it wasn't draining and this old kitchen had several odd conditions we wanted a pro to look at too. He cleared the drains and gave us some insight into how to deal with the old existing conditions. He was able to make time for us only a few hours after I called and we were done in no time. “Jeremy did an excellent job of shutting off and sealing our gas line to our gas stove in preparation of changing to an electric stove. He showed us that it was sealed with both a sniffer test and a soap bubble test and he also properly reinforced the gas line standpipe.“

“The company was very professional..I had a single zone system installed..the initial installation had a problem with the model of the mini system I wanted and when I informed Chudd it was the incorrect model..they proceeded to go above and beyond the effort and obtain and install the model I wanted the same day..I didn't think they would be able to locate the model I requested and finish in the same day but they did..Their technicians were friendly and did a super job on the installation and cleanup which only took one day. If you need a mini split system you won't go wrong with Chudd. Instead of having your system installed by a single person which might take several days..Chudd surrounds the job with several expert technicians so they can complete the job in one day..I give Chudd a 5 star rating.
