“I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mark Abraham at Aegis Eyecare for many years. I have a particularly difficult issue with my left eye. Specifically, I have an Astigmatism that is so severe that creating an effective script to allow me to see out of my left eye, even with glasses, was incredibly challenging. Two years ago, Dr. Abraham was able to diagnose and develop a script for my glasses, that was life changing. For the first time in years, I was able to see out of my left eye. This was only accomplished because Dr. Abraham took the time and effort to make it happen. Dr. Abraham changed my life for the better by giving me back my sight in both eyes. My wife and I moved to Virginia a few years ago to be near our children and grandchildren. I still come back to see Dr. Abraham whenever I need care. I can’t imagine going to anyone else.“

“This office has been consistently satisfactory to our family. Recently I had a situation (that originated outside this office) with a specialized contact lens prescription, and the doctor worked diligently to work through it and find a solution.“

“I had a great experience here! I've visited a lot of different optometrists in the city but haven't had the greatest experience with them. Sadly a lot of it is insurance related, but it's frustrating when you think your new glasses are going to cost a certain amount then the optometrist starts saying X isn't covered or we use a different lab which isn't covered by insurance.Pennsylvania Optometrics just took my insurance as-is and I got a great deal on glasses. They have a wide selection of frames, including a lot of brands NOT owned by Luxottica which has near monopoly power over the eyeglass industry. They were able to apply my insurance to some non-Luxottica frames.I didn't get an eye exam here because they were severely backlogged for eye exams at the time, but that's easy to get elsewhere.“
