“My expectations were surpassed by this chimney cleaning and inspection services. My wood fire was no longer heating well, so I called them. The specialist examined the chimney system and promptly determined the issue. Before starting any work, they thoroughly described each suggested repair and went over the cost of the chimney inspection. They discovered structural deterioration and debris buildup during the assessment, necessitating chimney repair to increase safety and ventilation. Additionally, they restored adequate ventilation and properly cleaned the wood stove liner. Throughout the visit, the technician was kind, professional, and efficient with my house. “Where do I begin? In November 2025 I had to get a new roof because of a leak, and that was done great! The leak led to my walls in 1 of my bedrooms, and dining room being destroyed, along with my hardwood floors in the dining room. ServiceMaster came in and did the destruction with the promise to do the repair. They abandoned me, and never came, never showed up for the repair. Carpentry USA was called on the recommendation of my insurance co. The arrived within 24 hours, took photos, explained everything in detail to me, contacted my insurance co, gave them the estimate, arranged for a flooring co to come in as well. The promised me I would be satisfied and took responsibility for this job. I was not just another job! They were professional, kind, patient, very detail oriented, explained every step, and were in constant communication with me during the repair! WOW!!! Toby and Eric are true professionals and kept their word! The backed up their words with their work and gave me my home back!! IN RECORD TIME!!! “This rating is much belated, but not any less glowing. The services & help that we received from the Home One Improvement team went above and beyond our expectations.

My husband and I have had two, bare bones, open storage rooms, downstairs in our bi-level home. Our washer/dryer was in a most awkward hallway position due to the previous owners--and we weren't quite sure how to make that space work more efficiently (and aesthetically) for us.

Tom came out and took measurements, talked us through the whole process of moving our laundry units, updating the plumbing & electrical, and framing out a new (large) reach-in closet. He even brought up aspects of the project that I had not thought of, which was incredibly helpful. Their quote came back at just the right price point. Their crew arrived exactly when they said they would—and they did a fantastic (professional) job of hearing me out about placements and details. They treated our home with respect and crafted that old, drab space into exactly what I had envisioned. I’m especially grateful that their electrician added more lights than I had thought we needed because it has proved to brighten up the space with beautiful clarity.

All in all, we are beyond grateful for our new and improved laundry room/closet area. We have added useful and beautiful square footage to our home. “Lea, Michael, Gill, and team bailed me out when another contractor flaked on my kitchen renovation. I needed a professional company to jump into a mess of a renovation and pick up the pieces. Michael came to look over my project, had a detailed proposal to me that evening, and the crew was onsite working within 48 hours. Gill led the team onsite providing expert craftsmanship and leadership. Michael checked in with me almost daily to make sure I was satisfied with everything and knew the game plan for the following days. Lea even called me a few times to make sure I was 100% satisfied.

“We had our entire home interior painted, as well as had crown molding and chair rails/shadow boxes installed. Dave was our painter and he was very thorough and detail-oriented. The paint work is flawless and we have some difficult high ceilings which Dave took care to paint so neatly! He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the colors we chose, and he even fixed an area my puppy ruined right after he had painted it. Mike did the crown molding and was also flexible and willing to change the plan at the last minute. He gave us information on potential future projects, and the woodwork adds so much character to our home. It looks beautiful! Brett helped with both the paint and woodwork projects and was also very accommodating, friendly, and detail-oriented. Everyone showed up as scheduled and the work was completed in the timeframe we were told.
