“I needed to get my makeup done for headshots. I didn't have any referrals so of course I turned to Yelp, where I found the amazing Nikki Jay. Prior to the appointment, which she was able to schedule for me at the last minute, we discussed makeup looks and I sent her inspirational photos. Nikki is a true professional who cares about her clients. She observed safety protocols and her space is very inviting with positive affirmations, vibrant colors and upbeat music. As Nikki applied my makeup, she explained each step of the process - what product she was using and how it works with the skin. I don't wear makeup every day, so I was a little nervous about getting glammed up, but Nikki did a spectacular job, giving me a look that felt classy and timeless. Feeling good about yourself - with or without makeup - is a form of self-care. It was a treat to get pampered and bring out a playful, fun side of myself that hadn't emerged in a while. I felt like a star when I left and received many compliments on my makeup. I would definitely book another appointment with Nikki.“
