“Went for my first ever facial, and it was a fantastic experience! Extremely relaxing, and Ruthie couldn’t have been nicer. She explained each step to me and helped give me insight to how to care for face being a very minimalist with self care. She didn’t over whelm me with products, even when I wanted to buy more things she explained why I should start small at first then build on my routine as I gain better habits and routines. She explained the basics and it made so much sense and I was almost embarrassed at 40 I didn’t already know these things! She also explained how ingredients are so important in skin care products, to be weary of TJ Max and those types of places when it comes to products due to potential quality or expiration concerns which again makes perfect sense.100% recommend even if your not a girly girl who “cares” about how you look. This for me was more about feel, and my skin looks insane and glowy and even toned and it’s been 1 day .. looking forward to keeping this up! Thanks Ruthie and Team“

“I got smart lipo on my stomach (abdomen and flanks). To be honest, there are places with better prices in the city—but I believe the premium is worth it.For starters, the staff are just so kind and incredibly responsive. I wish all of healthcare would mirror the customer service at the Lumen Center.The surgery was performed awake. Overall, I would say the pain was bearable, and I am very sensitive to pain. However, there were definitely moments where I struggled. The workers at the Lumen Center said encouraging words the entire procedure and even held my hand. They played music I liked. They seemed just as excited about the results as me. Dr. Kwak himself is a very kind man with a quiet disposition.After the procedure, the staff continued to be incredibly responsive to my every question. They were readily available via text and by phone call. Immediately after the surgery, I had multiple follow ups where Dr. kwak ensured that I was healing properly and gave me instructions to follow at home. The entire time, I knew I was in good hands and felt safe, and for this reason I say the premium at the Lumen center is 100% worth it. This is an invasive surgery, and even if it is cosmetic, is incredibly risky. To be able to trust the person doing it is priceless.My results were amazing. Unfortunately to preserve anonymity I would prefer not to post photos, but I saw a huge difference in my before and after results. My clothes all fit better, and I feel so much more confident. Getting this procedure gave me the encouragement I needed to pursue healthier eating habits and to overall love myself.“
