In the short time we worked with her (our son was cleared from needing services from his doctor soon than expected) Emily made a tremendous impact. She provided us with practical exercises, helpful techniques, and valuable insight that we could easily incorporate into our daily routines. During that time our son's language skills noticeably improved. He went from occasionally using two-word phrases to using them much more consistently and even began using three-word phrases.
Emily was always professional, knowledgeable, patient, and wonderful with our son. He genuinely looked forward to seeing her and would get excited when she came for visits. She was also flexible, communicative, and dependable. One thing that really stood out was the laminated resource she created for us so we could continue practicing her techniques between sessions.
We are incredibly grateful for the support and guidance Emily provided. She is clearly passionate about what she does, and it shows. We would absolutely recommend this organization and would not hesitate to work with Emily again in the future.
Amin is such a knowledgeable and very very patient person. He held my hand through out a complex transaction, which caused him to work late nights and missed some important FIFA soccer games...(lol). We've used Scanlon Plumbing several times over the years - from our hot water heater, our kitchen, two bathrooms, and other miscellaneous plumbing issues. Each time the work was done well, the price was right, and we were happy. Not many small, local plumbing companies left - but this is one that's lasted many years and for good reason.
David Wickes has done many projects, large and small, around our house. Like many homes in the area, age has caused everything in our house, including floors, walls, and door openings, to go slightly off-kilter. David is always keenly aware of the special issues that an older home presents when repairs or renovations are involved. He replaced our ugly, drafty, metal front door with a beautiful triple pane glass and wood door; he patiently figured out how to hang the new door properly in our slanted door opening. He also replaced a slipshod folding closet door that had been installed during an earlier renovation with a set of bespoke solid wood doors. David seems to take great joy in tracking down the perfect crystal doorknob or time-period appropriate moulding to make our house look its best. (He is also good at reparing damage inflicted on that beautiful moulding by exuberant puppies). I highly recommend David!
I had the extraordinary pleasure of experiencing the high level yoga classes at The Yoga Garden. Class construction, technical direction and instructive mini workshops woven throughout the class brought their mixed level classes to a whole new experience. Mark Nelson was particularly gifted at this approach. My body feels better, beautifully wrung out at a cellular level after only a handful of classes and despite a regular, high level but different at home practice. A play class was going on in the next room during my last class and the laughter kept drifting in through the walls in the most enticing way. So trying this class next trip! Highly recommend.

Dr Hamid is so knowledgeable and is great at what she does! I have never had to wait for an appointment, on my first visit we sat down and went through my medical history. In two visits she has almost completely eradicated 20 years worth of lower back pain. She also does myofascial release which helps the adjustments stay put rather than return to the injured position. I am so glad I started going to Dr. Hamid!

They practice traditional and alternative medicine. The doctors here are knowledgeable, affable, attentive, and are suggestive but not forceful in anyway. It’s also nice to have a doctor praise you for the decisions you make for your child’s health. That was a first for me!
