“I had the opportunity to visit Old City Aikido for a training session while on a trip to Philly from NY. It has been several years since my last visit. I found the dojo refurbished with more mat space, nicely organized, and super clean. It created a wonderful setting to train. The instruction led by Jason Perna Sensei was wonderful and inspirational with lots of personalized coaching throughout the session. The setting, instruction, and students there created a serious and fun experience. I can’t wait to visit again sometime soon! Thank you!“

We also hosted a birthday party there for both of our sons, and it was such a great experience. Sensei John and Ms. Johanna handled everything from start to finish, making it completely stress-free for us. The kids had an amazing time, and the party was fun, organized, and seamless.

“Don’t get me started on how great this gym is. I had the privilege to do the 14 day trial here in the summer and coach Jake is so nice that he let me stay an extra 2-3 weeks after I injured my shoulder which he didn’t have to do. I never had the money to come back after but coach Jake just gave me the opportunity to be a photographer/videographer in exchange to train. I really enjoy taking photos and editing for them. All around nice facility. Amazing people training there. All the coaches are dope. I would suggest stopping by to check it out anytime. Very amazing if you’re trying to learn any Martial art. “Best place around, very authentic boxing gym. Great atmosphere. All coaches there have pro-cards. I train here a few days a week. Love being pushed to work hard. Live sparring is my favorite part. Definitely recommend coming here it you want to learn the sport of boxing.“
