“LOOK NO FURTHER! We’ve been using Service First for years. At least 4 years ago, our furnace stopped working. I know a little about how HVAC systems work and declared this one dead. Brian and his son came out, diagnosed the problem, dismantled the furnace, cleaned everything, reassembled and had the unit working in a couple of hours. Amazing! Every year since then, we had Jody come out and perform maintenance. He took the time to talk and actually educated me on everything HVAC-such a great guy and teacher! Jim came out last time and he said it the system’s days were numbered. Sandie sent over 3 options and we picked one. My wife suggested that I call Jody and ask his opinion. It turns out that the option we picked is the same one he recommended. So, we signed the contract and received 0% financing ! This was a no brainer. Greg and Sam came out and installed everything in one day- just in time for this above average 88 degree day. Also, excellent soldering work Sam.Greg walked me through and explained everything and did not leave until every question I had was answered . Excellent work all around by everyone involved at Service First. In this day and age when it’s become Increasingly hard to recommend a company, my family and I without a doubt highly recommend this family run business for all your HVAC needs. I am a Realtor and have, and will continue to, recommend this great company. At least get the maintenance plan, it’s totally worth it. Well done everyone- thanks again.UPDATE: Wayne came out today (10 months since new unit install) and performed a maintenance check. The system passed with flying colors. “I want to let you know how pleased I am with this company. When I spoke with them they answered all my questions about installing a dual fuel heat pump system. They sent two employees to measure my home to determine the best size needed. They were both very knowledgeable and very friendly. They were able to answer the questions I asked them. They are hard working, they never stopped till the job was done. They explained everything to my wife and myself how to operate the new system. “I called Vintair and a couple on Angi referred companies to clean the heating ducts in my house. Vintair gave me the best price, substantially. They came very quickly and they really worked. They were at my house from 9 to 2, no breaks. The system is working so much better that even my “cold room” is comfortable. They were friendly, polite and cleaned up better than I could. They also secured an intake vent that I couldn’t attach properly. Very good work. Highly recommended.“

“Initially in July 2023 there was a bit of back and forth to determine if EMCO would be able to procure parts as my HVAC system purchased in 2019 was still under the manufacturer's warranty. For the first service, I was advised this wasn't offered so I paid for a circuit board and labour, it was pricey. I used another HVAC service to replace my blower as that company was able to confirm warranty for the new blower. Fast forward to November 2023 and my heater doesn't work. Seems like I need a new circuit board based on their diagnostics. Spoke to EMCO and asked again about my warranty, after a bit of haggling, they confirmed they were able to procure. The technicians are friendly, knowledgeable and fixed the issue (and replaced by filter for free). Rating them 4 stars as I paid for a circuit board and labour in July and only paid for labour in November. If it were left up to me, I would ask for a refund for the July cost but I didn't. Overall, they company is efficient and Hannah is pretty thorough in her approach. I would recommend this company.“
