Makayla is a wonderful real estate agent to work with. She is knowledgeable of the area, great with communication, we called for a last minute look at a listing and she was able to arrange her associate to take us through the house. She was in constant contact with us during the entire process, and answered all of our many questions without hesitation, she even helped arrange for a contractor to do a quick fix on something we needed to have done. We highly recommend her, she also encourages us to contact her if we have any questions after the sale was done. She does not forget her clients after the sale is closed. She really helped us a lot through the process and we are grateful.

On a Friday, my cat was ill & I had not found a local vet since we moved here a year ago. I called my regular vet in Warwick NY & they were booked solid so I needed to find someone local. NOTE TO PET OWNERS: Find a local vet before you need them. I was foolish to wait but don't make my mistake. ALSO find & save the name, number & address for an EMERGENCY VET. This will highly likely be different from your regular vet. In an emergency, you WILL NOT have time to find the best/closest place to go. After calling a couple of vets we found on Google who were booked, we took a chance & called Wallenpaupack Veterinary. Miracle of miracles, they had a cancellation & got us in that afternoon. The vet listened to my concerns & gave me options for tests. I didn't feel they were doing unnecessary procedures or tests to pad the bill. Turns out there was nothing seriously wrong with my cat BUT seeing Wallenpaupack Veterinary gave me piece of mind going into the weekend.
My first time going to this salon and they were able to take me the same day I called. I had my haircut with Emily and she knew exactly what I wanted. She gave me such a great haircut and kept the length. I’ve always had a bad experience at places where they cut way too much. Emily knew exactly how much to cut. I couldn’t be happier with my hair. John is the best painter we've ever had the pleasure of working with. He painted the exterior of our home 8 years ago and it still looks amazing. He just finished staining all of our wood decks, stairs, walkways, and assorted trim. We have a large property and have had some bad experiences with other painters in the past but John knew exactly how to fix all of the issues. It was a huge job but he took his time, did it right and it looks amazing (and at a very fair price)! His daughter Jenna assisted him and we were truly impressed with her workmanship as well. These are truly nice people. I enjoyed their company and was actually sorry to see them go. I highly recommend Big Lake Painting.

Amazing hair salon!!! I’d give them 6 stars if I could! I went first time yesterday for a bridal hair trial and I’m 100% using them for my wedding. Carmella was welcoming and happily answered my many questions … her personality was incredible. Bella did my hair and she was fantastic!!! She’s so detailed and my hair turned out better than inspiration pictures I showed her! Bella was thorough and checked with me on every detail to ensure I was loving the style. I was nervous going in as bridal hair can be tricky but they made it simple and fun!!! I felt like I had the best girls day! Highly recommend
This isn't a guitar center so dont expect crazy supplies but where this place shines is in service. These guys know everything about guitars and always make sure you are happy no matter what. Quick turn arounds on setup and service and they offer pro lessons from experienced musicians. A great local shop and a great place to go for all levels. They are brutally honest about anything you ask them about instruments specifically guitars and can point you in the right direction or even order things for you. I frequent here.
We were extremely pleased with the home the Coutts Group built for us in Masthope, Lackawaxen Pa. It was priced right, on time and on budget. They use modern building techniques in their process that provide for green, energy efficient home building. The Coutts Group has been in business for a long time and they have a lot of experience building homes. I would use them again and would recommend them if you are in the market to have a home built.

If you are getting married in the Poconos, I HIGHLY recommend Utopia for your hair and makeup! Cyndi on makeup and Chelsea on hair both CRUSHED and made me look and feel gorgeous on my day!!
As a bride, I wanted to look glam but also like me; Cyndi nailed this and did the PERFECT bridal makeup look! I looked glowy and rosy, yet you couldn’t see a thick layer of foundation or powder. The airbrush makeup that Cyndi uses insures you get a custom foundation shade match that looks natural yet wears all night (and I’m an oily girl!). She also advised me on individual false lashes (versus strip lashes) so that my eyes popped in photos, but I didn’t look like I had post-its stuck to my eyes. I felt (and looked) like a Disney princess with my whispy lashes! I also appreciated that from my trial, Cyndi adapted my trial feedback (adding a bit more liner and eyeshadow sparkle) and made me feel super comfortable about my look that day!
And in terms of hair, Chelsea had her work cut out for her because not only do I have frizzy waves that refuse a curl, but I also got married when it was pouring rain. Chelsea’s half-up style lasted well into the evening, and even when the curls started to fall, she used enough texturizing powder that my hair kept its general shape all night long (with little frizz!). Additionally, I had a cathedral-length veil and Chelsea gave awesome instructions for how to insert and remove the veil, insuring my style stayed as untouched as possible.
Both Cyndi and Chelsea were easy with set-up, and both were chill and reassuring while wedding day nerves were afloat that morning. I could not recommend these Utopia ladies enough, as they provided a variety of gorgeous looks for both me and my bridal party! Thanks Cyndi and Chelsea for making this bride feel beautiful inside and out, and also for making the morning FUN while getting ready too!

I don’t know anyone who wants to hire a mitigation company to help them recover from a home disaster, but that was the situation I found myself in when my kitchen and basement flooded. Lucky for me, my insurance company recommended Advanced Disaster Recovery to me.I’ve got to admit, I was a nervous wreck up until the moment that Dan and Scott pulled into my driveway. They immediately put me at ease, telling me that they would help me get through this - that they had me covered. A few minutes later, Russ the project manager and Darlene arrived to solidify the fact that I had nothing to worry about. They were right. Russ left me in great hands with Dan, Scott and Darlene who worked incredibly hard and efficiently, drying out my house, removing my flooring, cleaning all the affected areas, and inventorying and photographing every item that was destroyed in the flood. They were sincerely kind, trustworthy, and respectful. Bev from the Goshen office who I spoke to several times regarding the cleanup project, was also absolutely fantastic and put me at great ease with every conversation.I cannot say enough great things about these people. Our event at the Hub was a big success. The venue comfortably held our 70+ guests, layout of space worked very well and the kitchen facilities were plenty sufficient. The Hub team was very easy to work with - open lines of communication, prompt response times, clear instructions, etc. Plenty of parking. We would absolutely rent the space again.

It is a beautiful place to live The people are wonderful the staff is excellent and I'm looking forward to purchasing another home in the very near future. I refuse to let negative comments interfere with my decision. Every place has its ups and downs and in my opinion this one is one of the best communities to live in. If you don't like living in Hemlock You have the option to move....
