“Thankful for Dayton Lock! They're a a real-deal locksmith - experts in their craft. The mortise lock on our 1920 home needed repair and I called a half-dozen places before I came to the conclusion that many "locksmiths" have never even heard of a mortise lock yet be willing to repair one. Not so with Dayton, these folks have a ton of experience with these locks and knew exactly what needed to get done. Sean showed up on the appointed day and performed a very thorough repair of the mortise lock and also hand-crafted a spring to repair a latch on a 80+ year old storm door. Totally thrilled with the work and the pricing was reasonable. In the future, Dayton Lock will be my first call for sure!“

“I brought in a top bar for a car with the key broken off deep inside the lock. After Mike had initially examined it I thought it would be hopeless, but he persisted, using every technique in his tool box, and an hour later, victory! I had no idea what an hour’s work would cost me, but I was prepared to pay him in gold for his patience and skill - when he told me it was $30, you could have knocked me down with a feather! I have also taken tools in to be sharpened and he has done a great job, but getting that broken key out was amazing! A lesser locksmith would have given up I’m sure!“
