“First of all, let's talk about the store itself. The layout is absolutely gorgeous, it's an extremely comfortable environment with very posh vibes. The customer service is insane!! I could spend hours there just hanging out with the staff!!! There was especially this little guy they just hired who was amazing and extremely helpful!!!! I hope they keep him!!! “I recently visited Marchese Opticians with a busted frame, two good lenses, and faint hope that the lenses could be fitted to a new frame. Diana helped me realize this hope by offering the very solution that I sought, and then mobilizing her team to get the job done. Within two hours of waling into the shop, the lenses were adapted to a new frame-, saving me considerable time and expense. I am all the more impressed since the glasses were purchased in another state where I had previously resided. “It’s such a relief to finally rave about a business vs complain. Mainline Optical knows about excellent customer service and building/retaining customer loyalty! Several weeks ago, I had a dilemma…how do I see in between the 2 weeks that I have cataract surgery..being that one eye would still need my prescription while the other wouldn’t. I brought my glasses to Mainline Optical to see if they could remove one lens and replace with clear glass. However they couldn’t do it because my glasses were frameless. I left and after a few minutes, they called me and said to turn around and come back as they had a solution. They ended up lending me frames and making the prescription for the left eye while I waited (they had my prescription info as I’ve been a customer there for years). I left with the borrowed glasses and NO Charge! I couldn’t have asked for more. Rich, who is the owner, runs a fantastic business and only hires people like him…like Tom who took care of me and found a solution…I was SO impressed! So it gives me great pleasure to share this with whoever has the opportunity to read reviews like this… thanks Tom and Rich!“

“Nathan: One of my favorite sunglasses had one of its arms broken from the hinge. It was a pair of Dior sunglasses and an expensive one. It seemed to be an impossible task of finding a place to get it repaired and put the arm back to the glasses but I googled and found Marchese. They were able to take it in and send it to a external repairman. Took two weeks but they called me and I was so happy! It looked so new! i recommend you take your glass repairs to Marchese. Thank you so much.“

Dr. Kirshner gets the prescription right every time. Cindi is a master at sourcing a wide range of the latest quality frame styles and matching them to the customer's face. She takes her time and is sincerely helpful. The rest of the team is highly competent as well. Tori and Dianne provide the same friendly competent service in their respective areas of the business and have been with the practice for years. In all the time I have been a customer, I've never had to go back because the prescription or the focal point of the vision was not right.Fourteen years ago, I moved to New England and still go back to KOP to visit this practice and order glasses. They get it right, are flexible, and work with the customer. “If you have moderate to severe astigmatism and struggle to get the correct prescription for glasses or contacts, you NEED to see Dr. Ryan Edmonds. I was referred to this office by an ophthalmology staff after failing to qualify for corrective eye surgery and I'm so happy for the referral. I was wearing the same prescription for many years and knew something was off but whenever I was seen by an optometrist (and I've seen many), the new contact lens would not sit properly in my eyes and my new glasses would make me dizzy. I always thought that whatever I had was as good as it could get for my asymmetric astigmatism, but I was wrong! At my appointment. Dr. Edmonds took his time to listen to my concerns and was very thorough. He adjusted and even decreased my prescription, which I was nervous about but now I see better than before and my eyes don't feel as fatigued at the end of the work day thanks to him. Dr. Edmonds has excellent bedside manner and is so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, it's refreshing. He also gave me counseling points to improve my chronic dry eyes. I will continue to see him for the foreseeable future despite their front desk staff at the Philadelphia Public Ledger location (haha had to throw this bit in there to be completely objective about my experience).“
