So glad I found this place! I needed progressives with prisms, and a pair I had made with a previous optical shop gave me serious headaches to the point that they were unwearable. Rich figured out why, and worked with me to tweak the RX. He also suggested that I have a pair of computer glasses made, a suggestion no one else had made in the past 6 years since my cataract surgery at age 37. The glasses have made a world of difference. Richard, the owner goes above and beyond the expected. My vision needs were not stable and he is a very patient very capable problem solver. He got me prism glasses to use while adjusting to my changes. Once I’m stable, I will be back for a permanent pair. The whole group was very helpful. I can actually Focus for the first time in weeks!
I purchased 2 pairs of glasses from Mainline Optical in February and March, 2026. One, bifocal sunglasses, and one bifocal transitions. The owner, Richard Boehm, welcomed me into the shop and introduced me to Dan Field, who shepherded me through my purchase of glasses. He helped me to choose the most appropriate frames for my needs and face, and advised me on the best lenses to address my vision needs, as well as adjusting the final product on my face for a good fit. I am 100% happy with my glasses and can always go back if I need an adjustment for free.
