“In Sept 2023, Mark & Mark Jr came out to do an annual service check on my really ancient-but-reliable gas hot water heating system. My previous heating guy had retired earlier this year & after asking around a bit, someone mentioned Link Heating & Cooling. I was a bit apprehensive that a new HVAC person would find my system "too old" to mess with. Mark & Mark Jr didn't bat an eye - they checked it over thoroughly & all was fine. When I needed to take the chill off the house a few days ago, I adjusted my thermostat to turn it on, heard the reassuring, ever so slight "whoosh" of the burners coming on & before I knew it, my Old Faithful system was pushing hot water heat throughout my home. So sweet! Mark & his son are a delightful pair - I prefer having family-owned businesses work in my home & they were just perfect for the job I needed done. I found them to be responsive, refreshingly direct, honest & hardworking. “Ray (later found out he was the owner) is amazing!!! He embodies the type of small business owner we all want to support. He was knowledgeable, and patient. He actually spent time educating me on they way a/c units work. Definitely something he did not need to do on a week when he was swamped with work caused by Hurricane Ida. I later found out his office was also flooded and was still under several inches/feet of water. Yet, all his staff were friendly, helpful and professional. If they give this level of service during a natural disaster, I am looking forward to seeing the type of service they give when they fully recover. “In September 22 my A/C failed. The unit was the original from 1999. I immediately contacted Dennis Marlatt. I've used DP Marlatt in the past and trust them implicitly. Dennis came out and gave us the bad news. It was expected and we knew it was time to change our entire system. He didn't charge for the visit and he provided an estimate. The price was fantastic.
