But hearing of bad experiences from friends and acquaintances made me hesitate. Common complaints were trainers who lacked knowledge of exercise physiology, did not explain why certain exercises were performed, did not customize workouts, or consider the goals and initial fitness status of the client.Based on the enthusiastic recommendation of my son, I took advantage of a free session and evaluation at Vertex Fitness in April of 2023. I was deeply impressed with Dwayne Wimmer’s thoroughness in evaluating my needs and outlining a workout regimen to address them. After four months of three 30-minute sessions a week, my strength and endurance are greatly improved.Dwayne’s workouts are highly efficient. He leads you through exercises with a focus on proper form to achieve the greatest benefit and avoid injury.
