In just a couple of months, I can see changes in his demeanor and he's coming out of his shell. The instructors are the perfect amount of firm with him while still being caring and I appreciate all of their positive influence in my son's life.“

1703 Highland Ave, Cinnaminson“Action Karate Cinnaminson is awesome and a huge family atmosphere. The instructors really care about the kids being the best version of themselves in all aspects, not just karate. They constantly reinforce the importance of listening, doing good in school, self-discipline, respect, overcoming obstacles, and hard work all while teaching them karate in a fun atmosphere and building their self-confidence. They make sure to talk with and help each student individually during every class so no one ever feels left out. The kids have a blast in class and are always making new friends.
I can't recommend this place enough for both kids and adults of all ages. The students from white belts through black belts all support each other and have a great time every class. You get to learn karate and self-defense all while getting in a great workout that relieves the stress of work parenting and everyday life. Everyone leaves every class with a huge smile. They also have tons of cool events and different types of training. We are so happy we decided to check it out and my entire family is enrolled and loving it. If you have any interest or curiosity, check out one class, and you or your child will be hooked immediately.“

My daughter has been attending for over a year and her skills and confidence have grown steadily since day one! Their kids program is amazing for all ages, with great flexibility and very reasonable pricing. We love WMA!“

They are responsive to communication, make it a point to work with the students on important characteristics you define, and establish a great relationship with the students at a professional level. My 10 year old has been going to classes for the last 4-5 months and he enjoys every bit of it.“

2755 Philmont Ave Ste 135, Huntingdon Valley“This place has been such a blessing to our family and has become our second home. Martial arts has not only taught the skill of self defense but also teaches control, self discipline, confidence, respect and resilience. I love watching my sons train and the amount of growth they get from each and every class. Sensei David is truly an admirable leader not only to the kids but to us adults as well, not only does he put his heart and soul into teaching each class on the mat he also put that same energy into providing programs for kids and teens that helps teach kids to be successful leaders, learn how to problem solve, have meaningful discussions on real life issues, his 30 day bootcamp was a game changer and helped get my boys off the electronic at home and be active, helpful, responsible and spend more time as a family, they loved it and after completing the 30 days joined again! He provides home invasions/ active shooter class which was eye opening and so educational for all of us I could go on and on. He truly cares about what he does and when you are here you became a family!
Sensei David, Sensei Channy, Sensei Brandon, Sensei Serenity, Sensei Isaac, Sensei Bill and Sensei Ken are the best role models you could ever get for your children, my boys, myself and my husband who also trains there are so grateful for each one of them who inspire, lead and empower, I highly recommend this place!“

556 Andrews Rd, Feasterville-Trevose“The main instructor and some of his assistants are a pleasure. However, it's overpriced for what is going on. If you just want your kid to do an activity and don't mind not being frugal with your money definitely sign your kid up. ? There's plenty of Karate entities in the area though. Choose wisely.“

4407 Sylon Blvd, Hainesport“My name is Damian Fray, and I have attended Kraus Karate Academy for many years. Throughout this journey, I have learned and grown significantly. Although the journey has been long and knowing this is my second time writing this, I believe I can summarize my experience concisely. It all started when I was in the fifth grade, attending my sister's cheer banquet. At the time, I didn't think I had any luck with raffles, but I entered anyway. The prize that stood out to me the most was a free trial class at Kraus Karate Academy. You can probably guess what happened next. Over the years, I worked with seven different instructors, including Mr. Kraus himself. Each of them taught me various skills and techniques, helping me to develop my own style. To my surprise, I eventually became an instructor as well, allowing me to teach a new generation of karate masters. That pretty much sums up my karate journey in a nutshell.“
“I live 2 hours west but I have a buddy whose home gym is Grindhouse and I have been out there several times to train. Everyone is very friendly and the instruction is high level!“

8101 Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia“My son began learning martial arts from Mr. Bob 3 years ago. We signed up for a few trial classes at first, and in no time it was obvious that Bob Poole is the perfect blend of expert martial artist, master-teacher and kind-hearted human who isn't afraid to show his quirks. Students in Mr. Bob's dojo can't help but enjoy class, because HE is so determined to enjoy his classes. The energy is always fun, focused, and electrified by the enthusiasm and wisdom he constantly shares. He's a true "unicorn" martial arts master: Sensitive to the needs of children, Truly hilarious-while professional, and an awesome role-model with multiple black belts across a significant range of fighting arts.“

Its Korean martial arts owned and done by by english speakers (counting down and some other words are in Korean). I love the discipline they are required here. You can tell the kids love and respect the instructor especially how they follow and listen to him.“

9AM - 9PM
127 Ark Rd, Mt Laurel“I am a student at Action Karate in Mount Laurel, New Jersey under the tutelage of Masters Peter Liciaga and Colan Magill. I have been training at this school for a little over 6 months. Throughout the course of my life, I have been in and out of martial arts. I have actually attended six different martial art schools. By far, this has been one of the greatest experiences that I have had thus far. These gentlemen do not only teach you the art but but prepare students for life by Applying the principles within the arts to life’s journey. They use the martial art to help develop personality and build strong character within the students preparing them for healthy and productive living. The classes are structured and disciplined, yet nurturing to each individuals needs. While there is a very strong emphasis on the techniques and how we execute, of equal importance within this dojo are character traits and values such as respect, humility, integrity, teamwork, perseverance and mental resilience. All of the instructors teach and train us in a manner that is supportive creating an atmosphere that motivates us to show up and give our very best in all aspects of training. I would recommend the school anyone that is interested in Martial arts, and both personal and physical development.“
