My son was having some behavioral problems and we have seen big improvements. The class teaches him structure, listening and discipline. He became more confident. Plus he has a lot of fun.“

499 Marlton Pike East, Cherry Hill“My daughter attends karate classes here, and it has been a wonderful experience for her. The instructors are patient and kind when communicating with the kids. If they notice a child struggling, they come over to offer one-on-one guidance. They instill positivity, self-love, and strength, not only in karate but also in other areas of life, encouraging the children to always choose themselves, be honorable, control their emotions, stay focused, and respect their parents. I have seen a tremendous change in my daughter's self-esteem. She truly enjoys karate, even though she is very girly.“

127 Ark Rd Ste 16, Mt Laurel“When we first signed up for karate, our main goal was for our son to work on strengthening his core. As a former Nic-U preemie, this had been a struggle for him. PT at school had helped some, but we needed more than just that. Master Liciaga greeted us with his friendly, energetic presence and offered to introduce my son to karate. The first one-on-one lesson followed by two trial classes had us hooked. Master Liciaga encourages all students while challenging them to push themselves to be more than thought they could be.
It was not easy, but the instructors patiently guided my son. Repeated movements allowed him to refine his techniques while working on things such as balance at the same time. Master Magill has this magic power that allows him to know what students need as individuals as well. He addresses those individual needs throughout each karate class. Sometimes it’s fine-tuning technique, other times it’s confidence, while still other times it’s understanding complicated moves. He gets to know each student and makes them feel seen. While success in karate isn’t always linear, Master Magill’s guidance given along the way during times of my son’s frustration was essential to success. His persistence paid off as my son who loves karate has recently earned his black belt.
Yes, Master Liciaga and Master Magill are the heart of Dinoto Karate. The other instructors have learned from the best and connect so well with students. They laugh with them as they teach. They work with students as young as three up through adults. No matter your age or your current ability, they will help you grow. They prepare students for tournaments and build confidence. Karate can be hard work, but Dinoto Karate knows having a good time is vital as well. The summer of fun with spirit days and interesting challenges keep things lighter. They offer parents’ nights out, participate in community events and host buddy days and open houses.
The sense of community at this school makes it feel more like family. Parents feel as welcome as the students. The investment in the lives of the students outside of karate allows them to feel more valued. The sense of belonging shows as students help each other in class, as they lead with confidence, and as they grow together. I would 1000% recommend that anyone considering karate come to Dinoto Karate Center at Route 38 and Ark Road to find the place that will become a way of life. You won’t regret it!“

897 Rancocas Rd Unit 13, Westampton“Westampton Martial Arts has been such a wonderful experience for my son! He started last year, and I’ve seen him grow so much—not just physically, but in confidence and focus too. Coach Cameron is absolutely amazing. He truly cares about each student, showing so much patience and encouragement while still keeping great structure in class. I’m so grateful for the positive impact this place has had on my son, and I can’t wait to see how far he goes. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a place that builds discipline, strength, and self-belief“

1140 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville-Trevose“Sensei Alexander has been training with Tiger Schulmann’s for the majority of his life. He is a true embodiment of Tiger Schulmann’s and the curriculum. The guy is disciplined in the both the way he teaches and the way he trains. Sensei Alexander is a tried and tested Pro MMA fighter, BJJ competitor, and kickboxing fighter! Needless to say Sensei is an incredible instructor at both kids and adults skill levels. I truly believe Tiger Schulmann’s and Sensei have the best kids program out there, and you can see it first hand in the kids that Sensei Alexander has taught for 5-15 years now, that are ridiculously good and are successfully competing (and winning) now as Adults. This school specifically is a huge family, and is for anyone from any walk of life. There are people that come in cause they want to get in shape, and there are people that come in because they want to compete at the highest levels eventually. Sensei Alexander has tons of experience teaching both! If you’re looking for an instructor who genuinely cares about you, the art in general, and getting the best out of you then Sensei is for you. If you’re looking for a welcoming school, open to all skill levels, full of amazing people, in a fun, safe learning atmosphere, give the place a try, you won’t regret it! ?“

If you just want your kid to do an activity and don't mind not being frugal with your money definitely sign your kid up. ? There's plenty of Karate entities in the area though. Choose wisely.“

4407 Sylon Blvd, Hainesport“I did karate here for about 10 years from 6-16 and I still think about how much fun I had and how much confidence I was able to build through the programs here. I saw it transition from a chain to a private practice and experienced the growth and development of the academy throughout my time here and at their previous location. Mr. Kraus is an incredible role model and mentor who cares about his students immensely. I cannot imagine my life without the work ethic, drive, and perseverance I built here while still having fun and think about it often. I am beyond grateful to have had the privilege of going from a white belt all the way to first degree black belt. I highly recommend the academy to anyone because there is genuine care and support to help students progress not only in martial arts but important life skills as well.“
