“It was a Christmas Miracle. I cant express my gratitude to Lloyd, Randy and the Team! During the 1st monsoon a few weeks ago, my ceilings began to leak, 1st one room... then 2, then the drip drip drip on my attic access. He sealed up the main area where water leaked in and was courteous enough to seal other problem areas he noticed during the inspection. “Couldn't be more happy with how everything went -- and we were very anxious about it, after experiencing other companies.

The first people we deal with when meeting Portland Roofing were the owners. They were informative, not at all pushy, and super efficient. It was great to discuss the work without it feeling like a car dealership. Pricing was very competitive and maintained the same materials, etc, as other bids.

The rest of the crew -- from the office staff to the folks on the roof itself -- were always polite and going above and beyond to make sure we were informed and involved in any decisions. When there were decisions, they responded super quickly and kept the project on track.

“Well it happened again. I needed a roofer because I’m old and can’t get on my roof. And my man Austin came by a new house I bought and walked the roof. The house had moisture coming in somewhere but no one could find it. It ended up being cracked pipe seals. So when it rains only a little water came in. Just enough to heat and mold. The home inspector didn’t know where it was coming from and we spent $3500.00 to get rid of it. And in 5 minutes Austin showed me what was really going on. “Mark and his crew did a wonderful job on my roof and gutters. It is a large roof with 15 valleys full of cedar and pine needles and leaves. The roof was also covered in thick moss it many parts. They got all that cleaned off as well as the gutters cleaned out and left no mess below! Also repaired a sagging gutter and re-attached two roof soffit boards. They were on time and on schedule. I highly recommend them.“

“Wow what a time we had. Let me start with Brian, poor guy, This had to be his longest estimate in his career, Unfortunately for Brian I am that pain in the you know what guy. We discussed underlayment's and how they are applied, we discussed all roofing options, fascia board repair, and eave repair. Brians Knowledge is what I needed to help make my decision for what would be the best fit for my 1920s home.
The tear down was done cleanly and efficiently, By efficiently, I mean there was a chance of rain. The team made sure we where always dried in. No leeks during the project. Cleanup every night, and of course more questions from you know who.
(The Crew) Shawn has put together is quite the crew, Again everybody friendly, knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain why, what, where and how, to you know who.

I believe the first few days were smoking hot, attitudes where high, everybody working together like a well oiled machine and get this they were having fun, The comradery between the team was great, hell I wanted to join the fun.
Point being, If you're having fun and enjoy the work you do the outcome is Quality. Oh by the way the rain came down Hard they stayed up on that roof and made sure we would be good and dry for the night. They were all sopping wet and still good attitudes, joking around no big deal.
I have worked with many contractors in my time but have not had the experience I have had with French Roofing. Lets just say, French Roofing will be handling all my roof projects and will be the only recommendation I will be giving out.

“In the process of having gutter guards installed we discovered a problem with the way in which the our original roof shingles were installed (installer did not put down a starter row). I called Gregg Roofing to come and take a look. Josh came out and looked at the situation and came up with a creative solution to solve the problem that did not involve tearing off the existing shingles. He also pointed out several areas that needed special attention to keep my roof in good shape. Not only did he know what he was talking about but he was also a really nice guy.
When it came down to getting the work done the office staff was all over it, keeping me appraised in advance of of the schedule and several other calls keeping me up to date. VERY PROFESSIONAL.
