“As a homeowner with a house that seems to continue having random issues, we've worked with multiple different mold remediation and restoration companies over the years, and Restoration Techs has been the best so far.

For this job, we had a burst toilet supply line that caused a bathroom flood, and a major mold infestation on the ceiling beneath the bathroom. We got multiple bids for the remediation as well as the rebuild. All the bids came in around a similar price, but Restoration Tech's was slightly cheaper than the others.

From the start, I like that on the phone you actually speak to the owner, which means you get straight answers, practical guidance, and some real wisdom around mold (as well as insurance and basic construction), as opposed to other companies that feel like they'll say whatever you want to hear in order to get your business.

Anyhow, they were able to get started on the work shortly after the first call and finished it on schedule. For both jobs, I was impressed by their thoroughness and attention to detail. They also gave thorough photos, written descriptions, moisture reads, and other documentation, helping me prepare for an insurance claim.

I also really liked that when it came time to re-do the bathroom floor and re-set the toilet, there was a deeper issue with the toilet that was uncovered in the demo, and rather than put it back together as-is, they said it was best to bring in a plumber to ensure we wouldn't have future issues. Them being able to state their limitations (and offer me a refund for the part of the job that I hired a plumber for), gave me even more confidence that what they did do was done properly. Honesty and integrity are key, and an issue I've had with prior mold remediation companies, as well as various contractors over the years.

Andrey himself was on site to do a chunk of the work, and I found him as well as his team (Alberto and Eddie) to all be helpful, kind, punctual, and effective at their job.

I originally found Restoration Techs via a Reddit recommendation from an environmental hygienist. Having hired someone in that role before for a different issue, I figured if someone with that amount of expertise would offer a recommendation, it's probably a solid choice.

Overall, I echo the sentiment that Restoration Techs is 5/5 and if you need a mold remediator or rebuilder, a worthwhile team to hire. Thanks Andrey, Alberto, and Eddie!!”
