I had been getting my hair done in Vancouver for over a year called Urban Glow. I tell you Jenn Webb is far more qualifying hairstyles you will ever want to have do you're hair period. She listens too you as to what you want done and also will have her own thoughts and suggestions for you! Jenn is absolutely great at what she does. She has such a bubbly personality. “A friend recommended Jenny after I had gotten really bad, orange highlights all over my dark brown hair. Jenny listened to what I wanted and was confident she could take out the orange, return my hair to brown then add golden highlights. It seemed like a large task because there was so much orange. I saw many foils and such concentration during my visit but felt confident she knew what she was doing. It was great chatting with her and her taking whatever time was needed for this project. When she dried my hair I was in awe. I didn't think it could look that good. It was even better than pictures I'd shown her and it looked natural and fit my face/skin color. I'm so pleased with the results. She is truly an expert when it comes to color.“

Where do I start?! This review is long overdue- I am naturally a dark brunette and had been getting my hair done by the same gal for the last 10 years who brought me to blonde- or so I thought.. I was happy until I met Zara.

Let me tell you- Zara is the exception of hair professional. She not only looked at the heath of my hair, but delivered exactly what I had been wanting for nearly a decade!
I was stuck in the routine of my same hair gal (also bff for over 15years!) and never got the results that I finally found with Zara.
Let me explain- being a natural brunette and wanting striking blonde with highlights, on the silver/ ashy side, is a feat to request. Especially from root-to tip-. I was prepared to accept an interim, but that is not what I got.
Zara delivered! Straight gorgeous silver blonde with dimension, root to tip- just as requested! See photo- and this is after nearly two years of her care!
She delivered what I wanted, how I wanted, and kept my hair safe! I actually have more hair growth now than I’ve had in over 10 years. She listens, she advises and will speak honestly. I am so grateful I found her- she also took care of me during an emotional period I. My life. I did the worst mistake and cut myself “bangs”. Without judgement, Zara extended herself, time and expertise into helping me regain confidence. I didn’t even ask! She helped me through a period in my life where I really needed it, my heart never forgets this.
She IS THE BEST. And deserves the best clients. When you also become a fan of hers- remember to pre book 2 in advance because she books up! I wish I met her sooner, and I personally pre book 3 appointments in advance.“

Vicki was amazing and such a kind person, and MAN, can she cut hair. I haven't been to a salon in awhile, and normally I struggle making convos with hair stylists, it just feels forced. However with Vicki it was effortless. She made me feel comfortable and communicated well about my hair and what she was doing before she did it. It stayed all night long, despite sweating (and crying) a ton in the 85 degree heat. Shawna is the perfect makeup artist for that soft glam and natural look!“

You can make an appointment but typically it's walk in and if there are people waiting they will have priority. Again she is so efficient that the wait times are minimal. “My name is Darren, a happy client at Brenda’s Knotty Dreads. I had my dreads maintained by James Wolf last month and he did a wonderful job tightening my dreads and was super fast. Today I came in to get some dreads I thought were to small made larger by Brenda (she also did the full maintenance). She took some dreads out and added that hair to the neighboring dreads. I’m very pleased with how they look now. They both do amazing work, are super friendly and proficient in their craft. I’ll be coming here from now on for my dreadlock care. Moxie for Hair is a gem and wish I could find a place like Moxie in Knoxville Tn and it has been 3 years and have not been successful so needless to say when I go to Portland I make sure I make an appointment. You do need to make an appointment with advance notice because they are that GOOD!!“
