“As a 77 year old Disabled Army Infantry Veteran I was approved by VA to replace my Home’s shower with a Barrier free ADA spec “roll in shower.” This was all new info to me but the VA provided the detailed requirements in order to meet Veterans requirements. As I followed the VA Directive I was referred by a fellow Veteran to set up a meeting with Steve Young, Owner and Operator of Bath Techs LLC. Here in Bend. My Veteran friend who is a licensed Contractor has performed work at a number of locations that Steve provided various types of replacement shower installations for and had very complimentary comments. My meeting with Steve confirmed to me that I was not only working with an experienced professional but his ease of conversation, honesty and integrity stood out. While working with the VA guidelines for Disabled Veterans Steve knew exactly what the steps and appropriate actions were and while working closely with my wife and I followed through with the promised timeline, cost and completion. For our shower the 5 project days start to finish were explained and carefully executed. Each phase we met Steve’s sub-contractors who specialized in their specific expertise. We could tell that Steve’s Team was very experienced and each of them were as professional as they completed their work. My wife and I are retired so we at home throughout the process and were impressed with all aspects of the project. All VA requirements have been met, all city permitting approved and no “surprises” took place. Now that we see the quality of work performed by Steve we plan to contract with him to replace our upstairs shower as well. It will not be an ADA shower so we have even greater options to work with. This company does very good work. On more than one occasion we had roof leaks and they came out right away. They answered the phone on the 1st ring. Gal who answers is professional and courteous, and if you ask her a question she has the answer. The workers cleaned up after themselves and were careful with the roof when they walked on it. Have had them here now 5 times for two different buildings on the property. When we had so much trouble this year, instead of trying to get me to spend a lot of money, they told me how to take care of my roof the right way, thus saving me more damage. This is a good company who you can trust, they've been here in Central Oregon for many years. They always answered the phone calls, called me back as needed, and answered my emails right away, too.“
