“We first met Ron to discuss remodeling what was a bonus room with duct work and basic framing into a fitness room. We did not really know what we were after in terms of design. Ron stressed that much of his work is for out of town owners, so he had no issue with our lack of specific direction. He worked independently, keeping us aware of his progress. Then, on schedule, we had the big \\\"unveiling\\\" and it was unreal. We LOVE what he did and it's amazing he made use of so many practical, yet visually pleasing design elements based on so LITTLE direction from us. We trust him, he did a fantastic job, and the cost was very affordable and reasonable. We would work with him again in a heartbeat!! A great guy on top of it all.“

“We just finished our kitchen remodel with Family 1st Building & Remodeling! This is my 4th kitchen remodel and my first time working with Family First. We could not be happier with the final outcome! This company truly cares about its customers and also protecting their health as well as their home during the entire process. None of the products they use pose any hazard to your health and they run a HEPA-type air cleaner during much of the remodel process to keep the air filtered and clean. From step one of this project, meeting with the contractor’s wife to discuss the project…it was obvious this company was different than the last contractors I worked with. They really do care about the impact the remodel process has on your family and they take additional steps to ensure the job is done right, safely and in a timely manner. For example, they covered the work area in heavy plastic and had zippered doorways to keep the dust/debris from entering the rest of the home. They were very considerate about covering the floors to protect them, they did not leave debris out in the yard and the work area was always left clean and tidy. We were able to still function for part of the remodel in the kitchen, as they were kind enough to put down some temporary countertops as well as a temporary sink to use during the period we were waiting for our Quartz countertops to be installed. This made the whole process much less painful- as I was able to still cook and do dishes! This company truly does put families first! They also are honest, reliable and have great communication skills. These are qualities that are very rare these days! Family 1st was truly a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate a moment about referring them out to any of my family or friends. The quality of work was outstanding and truly exceeded my expectations. We had our countertops replaced with quartz from tile. We had our high top, 2 step bar cut down into a single level. We had a new cooktop & downdraft put in as well as a new sink, instant hot, faucet, and all new subway tile backsplash. We truly love the newly remodeled kitchen! Thanks Family 1st! Jude“
