Nate was an excellent super, along with Ethan and the rest of his crew, managing each sub with professionalism ensuring they completed on time and the highest quality. Larry stepped in when any problems arose (remodeling a 100 year old house means you’re inevitably going to discover issues), handling each issues with our best interest (and budget) in mind. Both projects were finished on time (ADU was a month early), permitted without pushback, and within budget.

RG was honest with their pricing through both projects. They didn’t land the projects with a low bid and then change order us up; they delivered exactly what they quoted.

The home renovation that they completed is hard to believe that our 100 year old cottage turned into such a beautiful new home (see pictures).

“I had such a wonderful experience with The Remodel Group! I live in a 1960’s house that needed an update on the flooring and most of all the fireplace. Steve met with me and walked through what I was hoping to achieve. All the processes of the remodel were done exactly in the timeframe set forth in the proposal. I was so happy with all the contractors who worked in my house. The contractors were respectful, very nice and most of all did beautiful work. My fireplace was transformed from a wood burning fireplace to a gas fireplace. The gas fireplace I chose had an arch on the top, which I loved. Steve worked with me to get the mantle I had in mind that also had an arch, emphasizing the beauty of both. The carpenter who created the mantle was amazing and so talented. I am so grateful for The Remodel Group for making my vision come true. I love the new look of my mantle, fireplace and flooring. I am a very happy person!!!“

“Debra was so easy to work with; we had a small project for a designer—new paint, new carpet throughout, a few new pieces of furniture, accent colors throughout, new bathroom sink, some new artwork, etc. The house had a major remodel 20 years ago and so I told her we wanted “the same but different.” So she recommended fantastic colors that made my choices easy, found a painting contractor, a fantastic mover (because of the repainting), brought me excellent carpet samples, found fabric for new pillows, tablecloths, and an occasional chair for the bathroom, suggested some artwork ideas. We shopped for new lighting fixtures and also found an accent mirror for the living room, an idea I wouldn’t have considered. She wasn’t the general contractor, but she arranged for everything. We shopped for the sink together. So a few things took longer than expected, but Debra kept on top of things and made sure that my project was important to the contractors; I worked with the movers myself. Debra has a fantastic sense of color, and didn’t act like the pushy designers you might think of who impose their own tastes and aesthetic. Debra listened to mine, understood it, suggested some refinements, and then showed me how everything would work together. I’m very satisfied with the outcome. We didn’t quite stay within budget, but that was more because of the artwork I chose more than anything else. I’d work with her again, but I don’t see the need for years to come because we’re so happy with what we have.“

“I recently ordered a custom closet organizer from Closets to Go. I worked with Melanie, one of their designers to get the storage and space I needed. She was so helpful and patient through several design changes. When the organizer arrived, it fit the space perfectly, and the directions and labeling made it easy to install. We were very impressed with the quality and the price was a fraction of other systems I had researched. Definitely worth a weekend of DIY for the difference in price! I am very happy with my new, organized closet!“

“Jenni and her team completely transformed our house from a "cold and dark" color and design scheme to bright and modern and my wife couldn't be happier. Our house was completely and newly remodeled when we purchased it in 2020, but we realized later the color schemes, lighting, cabinets, tile, countertops, etc. were dark and cold. My wife didn't even know what she wanted and Jenni's team had an exhaustive questionnaire and several discussions to come up with a proposal. Even after seeing all the materials and color schemes we couldn't visualize completely but when it was finished it was stunning. My wife now feels like this is her house as opposed to living in someone else's house. This interior design included the kitchen, dining, living, front bathroom, master bedroom and bathroom and lighting. She prescribed all new custom furniture, fabrics, carpet, area rug, lamps, overhead lights, mirrors, etc. Pretty much everything. We learned to make this work best you have to not only embrace the designer's overall look and feel but the detailed fabrics and materials and realize everything ultimately flows together to a beautiful finished product. We initially decided not to do our two guest bedrooms and office but after seeing the rest of the house we are now using Jenni's services to redesign them. It takes time and patience, especially in a supply constrained world, and in our case we had to live temporarily with the inconvenience of not having access to our kitchen, living room and master bedroom and bath but it was all worth it when we saw the finished design!“

“I've been to this place countless times and have purchased silverware, glassware, plates, and and cookware. I have ordered pans they did not have in stock (ex: a specific tapered saucepan!).

The staff have always been helpful. Some orders were quite small - manybe $20-30 or less, and they were equally helpful.

It seem like I went by a few months ago and they were unexpectedly closed with an ambiguous note on the door. I wasn't sure if they were closing or maybe having staffing problems? Either way, I hope they are still open and doing well.“
