“Have been taking my dogs to Sequoia around 10 years. My last 2 dogs were rescues & had horrible allergies & the vets did all they could to help keep them happy & comfortable. I wouldn't take my new puppy any place else! Also love the fact that my dogs could board at their sister clinic in Woodburn , & that they had access to my dogs health records so I knew that if there were problems, they would be dealt with quickly & I would be kept informed. I recently lost one of my pups and took in my other to get a full health checkup at a different vet. That vet found a potentially problematic mass on my dogs paw and quoted me over $1600 to remove it.

I came to South Clackamas vet to get a second opinion, Not only did they quote me over $1000 less, when they actually removed the mass, they realized it wasn’t problematic and charged me even less than what they originally quoted me!

I called numerous times the day or surgery To check in on my pup, and they were so kind to me. The ladies answering the phones were so genuinely kind and willing to help answer all the questions I had. They didn’t treat me like I was an annoying nuisance (as was my experience with the other vets).

Dr Henson is so awesome and great with both my kitties. Just took in my other car for a well visit and vaccine updates and Dr Henson is so good with the cats and she really cares about them. “We have four pugs and started transitioning our kids to Pioneer about a year ago and we could not be happier. They really take the time to listen to what we are observing in our dogs, they are always willing to let us add some care for our dogs that is not what I would consider the norm. We take our old man who is severely arthritic and has seizures to another vet for acupuncture and laser treatments. The only downside for us is that we live in Beaverton and the commute can be a little pain in the bum every now and again, but with the quality care and peace of mind we get...it's worth it!!“
