I got a haircut and blowout done, and it’s fair to say that everyone I know loved how it looked on me. Nancy went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, and was very committed to her job. “Had a good experience here given my first time. As I walked in I was warmly greeted by a bald gentleman and a lady named Emily. I was a walk-in client and had no rsvp and they were able to accommodate me even tho they had another gentlemen booked around the same time. Emily was nice to accommodate however I do think that there was room for improvement with my treatment. I wonder if because she was juggling 2 people at once that the service felt a little rushed. Reason why I say this is that when she washed my hair she only shampoo’d and didn’t condition my hair, as her next client had walked in. The overall haircut went well, but I was surprised she didn’t initially add any leave ins or hair protectant before styling. Luckily, I did ask before she proceeded to blow dry my hair on high heat. Her response was “I usually only apply heat protection if I’m using hot tools like flat iron or curler, but with blow drying I don’t. But if you would like I’d happily do that for you.” I was a bit confused as every salon I’ve been to this has kind of been the standard? Otherwise who am I to judge I’m not the professional. Overall, I had a great experience and can’t complain with how my hair turned out. It looks great and would def return, and hopefully with booking in advance it would give them more time to do those small extra steps that. Again, I did come in at my convenience so I would still give them 4 stars. Thank you !“
