“We have used Dart Heating extensively over the last few years since moving to the region.

Here is the detail for scope:

We first met Brian and his team when Dart were chosen as the primary HVAC subcontractor by our general contractor on a complete basement renovation. In that renovation they,

- Re-ran a gas line on the exterior of our home that had not been properly installed in a prior generation.
- Installed a new on-demand tankless gas water heater for us in a new place that economized space for us
- Ran a new gas line and installed a new gas fireplace in the basement.

Once that project was done and in subsequent seasons,

- they helped us troubleshoot an issue with a main floor fireplace
- they replaced a fuse in our furnace that I burned out when I goofed up the install on my new smart thermostat
- they fixed a faulty switch in our A/C unit that stopped working
- they helped us nurse along a 20+ year old furnace until the furnace needed to finally be replaced in 2026 when it had a cracked heat exchanger.

Over the last 5 years we've worked with Brian and a number of his staff at our house and every time the response was very prompt, the communication was great, and the diagnosis was explained in a way that we understood.

I appreciated as well from a home owners perspective that they always trained us on the use of the new or existing equipment so that we could maximize the benefits of the units. Even simple things like explaining MERV ratings on furnace filters, and which one to go with.

At this stage, Dart has helped us fully modernize and maintain the HVAC systems in our 1950's bungalow and I probably should have gotten around to writing this review sooner... They're great.“

“We first had Kawartha Clean Air come out to clean and service our gas fireplace. Our experience was great and in discussion with them we asked that they come out to quote a new Napoleon furnace. Our century home had an old gravity furnace that was no longer operable and a lot of large and inefficient ductwork. Graham came out and explained the scope of work to remove the existing unit and replace it with the more efficient furnace. He was very personable and clear about what needed to be done. The quote he provided was reasonable and detailed so we understood exactly what we were getting with the new furnace and ductwork being installed. His team were friendly, professional, efficient, and very mindful of our cats by keeping the doors closed while they worked.
