The Hip Joint: a movement clinic Acupuncture

“I was recommended The Hip Joint by a friend to address some chronic shoulder and knee pain. Megan was instrumental in rehabilitating my shoulder/knee and getting me back to moving pain-free. She took the time to truly understand what the root cause of my pain was, and explained each step of my treatment plan and how it would help restore mobility and reduce my discomfort. She also gave me the knowledge required to continue strengthening my shoulder and knee beyond being treated in-office.

I would highly recommend going to The Hip Joint for whatever mobility issues you may be having!“

Tuina Toronto Acupuncture

“Sally was fantastic! This is the first time I've ever had Tuina massage, although I see a massage therapist monthly at home. I am visiting Toronto and my back has been killing me. I have quite a pronounced scoliosis and get a lot of pain between my shoulder blades where the biggest part of the curve it. I was actually looking for Shiatsu online when I came across Tuina. I'd never even heard of Tuina before, so I looked up the difference between the two & thought I'd give it a try. It was so good! If you're looking for a nice relaxing massage that you get undressed for and they put oil or lotion on your back, this is not for you! This was very relaxing, but in a different way and you leave your clothes on (tie up your hair if it's long). Nice relaxing music is also played and you are in a private room (unlike some places that have several tables lined up in the same room, with no curtains). If you've got painful stiff muscles, and want a very deep, intense massage, than this is for you, particularly if you are already used to massage. This method really works out all of the knots in the problem areas you've listed. It uses very firm pressure on the tight muscles, but she does frequently ask you if it's ok, so if it is too much pressure, you can tell her that it's too much. She also stretches your tight muscles. She stretched my arms in various directions, while supporting my shoulder or pushing on my back, to really get to all the muscles leading up the problem areas. She also stretched my legs and back, so make sure you let her know if you have any disk issues or injuries so she can accommodate that. If you are not used having your body manipulated, then just know she will just gently move and reposition your limbs and stretch without asking, because this is the normal with this type of massage. She also does a chopping or gentil knocking/thumping on the muscles that are really tight and not loosening with just direct pressure, or with areas that maybe cannot handle as much direct pressure. Because I've been getting massage therapy for many years, I know to drink a lot of water following this type of massage and that I will probably be sore later tonight and possibly tomorrow, but that is NORMAL! She just worked your muscles, just like when you've been working out and your muscles are sore afterwards. You have to drink a lot of water after a deep tissue massage, because any time you work the muscles (with exercise or manipulation like massage), your muscles release lactic acid and if you don't flush it out, it kind of ferments there and causes pain. She pretty much gives attention to all areas (hands, head, etc), however does not spend much time on these areas if your problem areas take up a lot of the session. I really wish that I had booked 90 min so that she had more time to spend on my feet, hands and head, but now I know to book more time next time. Sally was so good and seemed to know exactly which areas needed more attention. She found tight muscles in my legs that I didn't even realize were so tight. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town! Just a friendly tip, it costs less if you pay cash, but even the prices you pay if claiming on your insurance are very good and less than many other places. Go see Sally! You won't regret it!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dr. Paul Seto is amazing! I’ve been struggling with migraines for many years, and nothing worked — not supplements, vitamin B, magnesium, or any other remedies. My migraines would always get worse before it rained, which was so frustrating.
A friend recommended Dr. Paul Seto, and I decided to give it a try. After just my very first session, I was able to go a whole week without taking painkillers for the first time in years!
Highly recommend Dr. Paul Seto, especially for anyone dealing with migraines. So thankful for his help!“

“Thomas Hein is an extremely knowledgeable and empathetic practitioner who listens to his patient’s concerns, symptoms and current health conditions with compassion and understanding. He has a very deep understanding of the human body and what it needs to function properly. His treatments are tailored to your individual needs and he is not afraid to treat complex cases that involve multiple ailments and or chronic illnesses. I became a patient of Thomas’ when I was desperately looking for help for neuropathy in my feet due to complications with Lyme disease and co-infections. After many trips to the ER due to the excruciating pain that then landed me in a wheelchair for over two months, Thomas was the only practitioner willing to take me on and with a positive outlook for my future. He was incredibly kind, gentle, and understanding. He took his time when treating me and explained why things were happening and how he was going to work on my body to regain my abilities and independence again. He reassured me as many times as I needed and never made me feel as though my symptoms were “ in my head”. I consider myself very fortunate to have been referred to Thomas and am happy to report that I am well on my way to recovery, out of that wheelchair and regaining more and more of my independence everyday.“

“I had the pleasure of working with Serah Park at Striowski & Associates Physiotherapy for pelvic floor physiotherapy, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care I received. Serah is not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive. She took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process and created a treatment plan that felt both personalized and effective. I noticed significant improvements thanks to her guidance and expertise.

In addition, Harleen has been instrumental in helping me manage shoulder issues. Her skillful, supportive approach and tailored exercises have made a real difference in my recovery and overall function.

“Went to clinic for relief of neck pain, specifically sharp turning pain at bedtime.
After 1st session and 1 week of home exercise the treatment plan Brent taught me appears to have worked as the sharp pain has ceased. Excellent job.
Brent walked me through each exercise, took video of each and he did not talk down to me as I flubbed the training. Very professional.
I recommend this clinic and Brent and would not hesitate booking another few sessions as needed.“

After receiving treatment and advice from Amy, I noticed significant improvement. The recovery felt slow at first, but once I reached a certain point, progress accelerated. I am truly satisfied with her treatment. Truly, thanks to her!“
